C-Section Hospital Help

Hi, there!

For those who had c-sections, how did you handle the hospital? My husband was with me the first time and we were there 5 days. I'm sure the visit won't be as long the second time but he helped so much with just bringing me the baby/changing her while I was recovering. Did you have someone stay at home with the older child or was the second time around easier since you knew what to expect and so hubby went back and forth? Will nurses help with that stuff? Lol... I have no idea how to handle that. Just curious!

My oldest stayed with grandma and my husband stayed in the hospital with me. I had twins this time around so I needed all the help I could get. 
The nurses will help you though.

I only stayed at the hospital 48hrs with #2 and #3.  My older kids stayed at home with my SIL both times.  DH went home for about an hour to shower and that's it.

Just had my second CS 2 days ago. DS is almost 2, he stayed with grandparents while I was admitted. The nurses will help you, but I asked Hubby to stay with me for the help. It worked out nicely that way.
