afm I got the results from my 4th beta. It went from 4,049 to 7,115. I thought that was a good number but the nurse said it should be doubling every 3 days and that didn't. She said that combined with the fact that I'm still bleeding might not be good and to be prepared. Now I wait for Tuesday.

Hi Ladies! Congrats to @wifeinraleigh28 on your transfer! (as well as the others I've missed).
Thought I'd give an update. Met with the RE and we are going to do another cycle. Next month I'll be doing another sonohysterogram and a uterine scratch at the same time. Then straight into stims and retrieval. We will be doing PGS on this batch of embryos, so my next transfer could be as late as January/February. I'm glad to be getting to the next cycle, but a little blah about how long it will be.

Hey everyone...heard from the dr. It's a no go which was expected. I need to get an endometrial biopsy next cycle then we can try again. I guess I should move boards
@sleepyrn Congrats on being able to get started again! We did PGS testing too, and even though it does lengthen the entire process, I do feel like it really gave us peace of mind. I know it still isn't a guarantee that it will work, but it does increase your chances when you know the embryo you are transferring is normal. Best of luck to you!!

AFM: I'm noticing myself getting paranoid about every little thing I do now. The nurse told me to rest today, but not too much. She said it's important to get the blood flowing so still go about my day but not do anything too strenuous. I just don't really know what that means. If I'm going about my day today, I would probably just plant myself in front of Netflix for hours on end. But she said not to do that. So.... I guess I'm trying to find a happy medium. I'm trying to have faith that my body is protecting my little embryo, but it's hard!

@wifeinraleigh28 those sound like frustrating guidelines! I was still torn up by my egg retrieval so I definitely went the Netflix+couch route after my transfer. Don't beat yourself up if that's all you have the energy for!

@lilmissslp no! Don't stress! Your number is over 4000, it would have ruptured already- the baby is too big. Mine was only 500. Anything over 3000 and it's a gaurentee rupture and you would be in agony- unbearable pain!
Your experieicng normal bleeding! Even in my other m/c's my number NEVER went into the 1,000's. You sound like you have a healthy baby, so don't worry!! don't get panicked over my story--- talk to others who bleed during their 1st trimester- you're most likely on a similiar page as them! It really is very common- SCARY, but common!

Thank you @Colleen0516! I feel better knowing it's not ectopic! You are so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and I'm so happy to have you on the board. I have talked to a few women on the pregnant after IF board who had bleeding due to a subchorionic hemorrhage. My nurse is really making me nervous. When I asked for her honest opinion she said its usually not very good when the number stops doubling and the bleeding continues so I need to possibly prepare myself. My number still went up (4,049 - 7,115) so I thought that was good but she doesn't seem to think so. I really wish they would have appeased me and done an early ultrasound. Tuesday afternoon can't come soon enough! How are you feeling today?

Oh no @Kp214 I'm so sorry! This seems to be a bit of a trend this month, I wonder what causes this? Were you taking ganirelix or cetrotide? I know some women ovulate anyway on those meds but what a bummer. I hope your doctor can figure things out for your next cycle!

@lilmissslp I didnt know the number stopped doubling; It's still very high though. Your ultrasound will tell you more! Praying that it all works out for you. Is the bleeding heavy? I feel for you- I know the stress and worry; it can drive you crazy. Try and relax and think postive!

@Colleen0516 yeah it didn't quite double. It's a good number but should have doubled. I've read that it takes longer to double the further in you are. Yes, I'm so ready for my u/s...all I do is Google! I've taken it very easy this weekend and so far it's slowed a lot. It's never been a gush of blood and isn't as heavy as a period but has been bright red and more than spotting at times. I guess all I can do is wait and see.

Thought I'd give an update. Met with the RE and we are going to do another cycle. Next month I'll be doing another sonohysterogram and a uterine scratch at the same time. Then straight into stims and retrieval. We will be doing PGS on this batch of embryos, so my next transfer could be as late as January/February. I'm glad to be getting to the next cycle, but a little blah about how long it will be.
Good luck to all of you. I don't know if I should move to the Sept/Oct board or just wait til they get an Oct/Nov one going.

AFM: I'm noticing myself getting paranoid about every little thing I do now. The nurse told me to rest today, but not too much. She said it's important to get the blood flowing so still go about my day but not do anything too strenuous. I just don't really know what that means. If I'm going about my day today, I would probably just plant myself in front of Netflix for hours on end. But she said not to do that. So.... I guess I'm trying to find a happy medium. I'm trying to have faith that my body is protecting my little embryo, but it's hard!

@wifeinraleigh28 those sound like frustrating guidelines! I was still torn up by my egg retrieval so I definitely went the Netflix+couch route after my transfer. Don't beat yourself up if that's all you have the energy for!
@wifeinraleigh28 My clinic says the same thing about transfer day! Too bad the valium they gave me made me pass out for a 3-hour nap that afternoon... Just do the best you can - rest if you need to!! Wishing you the best of luck for this 2ww!
