I'm glad Ramsey is dead. Seriously, the most satisfying hour of television I've seen in a while. I only wish he had been tortured first so he could feel what it was like.

BUT....I'm gonna miss what that asshole did for the story in terms of ratcheting up the drama. You knew when he came on screen shit was going to be horrifying, nauseating, shocking, batshit crazy, whatever.

YES!!!! His death was incredibly satisfying!  I even enjoyed that it was his own dogs killing him because it added a whole other element of "YES! F U RAMSEY! Now you get what you deserve!" to it.  I'm not usually a nasty and vengeful person but damn that felt good.

@eggplantface ***GoT Discussion Ahead** So glad he's gone. But have you wondered who will fill his shoes...? I mean, the show has to have a 'villain'. I'd like to say Cersei makes a comeback, but I doubt that will happen Maybe the Freys? 

My UO opinion is that I hate showers of any kind. Bridal, baby... you name it. I didn't even want a bachelorette party but my BFF insisted. I also don't want a baby shower, but my BFF again is going to  push for it when I get KU. Her reasoning is "Don't you want people to give you stuff???" My answer is: "Why can't they just GIVE me stuff?? Why do we have to have this huge shin-dig attached to it? Amazon prime works great!" LOL

@Schumerator @SienaC @hezzer78 Uncle Euron, maybe? He's cuckoo. Or Ser Davos will lose his shit when he finds out what happened to Shireen and lay waste to Westeros! Cersei is a good candidate if she goes back to how she was in the first couple of seasons.

And @hezzer78, turn down a shower if you want, but you gotta have the bachelorette party! That's the good one for the single friends that have to suffer through the showers to get to the strippers and shots!

And agreed @hezzer78 showers are also not my favorite but my bachelorette party was a blast, and I love going to them! To me that feels more like awesome celebrating and not just watching someone open gifts. I also hate bachelorette parties where I am expected to bring a gift, I definitely did not expect that at all. Like the gift is me coming here, staying in a hotel, and buying you drinks damnit!

My UO today is that I think cherries are better than all the other fruit.  Don't get me wrong, I love lots of fruit, but cherry season is my very favorite, and if given a choice of every fruit, I'm gonna pick cherries every time.

ETA: I also really hate baby showers, bridal showers, etc. I absolutely, 100% refuse to go. I'll never be caught dead at a shower. You're getting married? Congratulations but no I'm not giving up my day to go to your lame party where social convention dictates I must give you a gift. I'm probably not going to your wedding either. Can I just... send you a congratulations text and call it done? Oh you're having a baby? That's fabulous. Now go be pregnant literally anywhere in the world that isn't near me. And no I absolutely am not going to give up my day to sit through your ridiculous party that's a thinly veiled gift grab. If I want to buy you a gift I'll buy you a gift. And if I don't want to buy you a gift I shouldn't be forced by social convention to be a victim of daylight robbery where you steal my time, my happiness and my money for your baby.

@MandyBeeSLP I can understand not liking it. I watch it, but honestly, I am only really able to follow a handful of story lines. And don't even ask me any of the names if it's not a main character. But I'm able to get the gist of what's going on, so that's good enough for me!

@thejerilu it's such a pain in the a** right??? I mean i love the clean feeling afterwards, but it's such an inconvenient process.

My UO is that I despise Donald Trump. I know we don't get into politics on here, and i'm not just talking about him politically. i hate him as a human being. My boss just got back from New York and bought a damn donald trump hat and i'm seriously considering taking it from his office and flushing it down the toilet. I doubt he'd even notice.

eta: So this may not necessarily be an UO, but I know some people do like him and i respect that. I'm just not one of them.

LOL before you edited I was about to say "That's not an unpopular opinion!" Your post makes me glad I work in a place where political advertising/campaigning is prohibited because I don't know who supports him, and I would lose respect for any coworker who does.

@hezzer86  Ohhh I hate Showers too!!!! I hate having and going to them!! I didnt even really want to have my bridal shower but i let my SIL do it and it was pretty simple and low key. But yeah NOT FOR ME

also @TheJerilu...I don't like those type of showers either, I hate getting my hair wet! Its too thick and takes forever to dry...

my UO...for lunch i had mac n cheese, and a slice of pizza and peanut m&ms...totally forgot I'm going out tonight with DH for anniversary celebrations....oooppps

My UO is that I hate Friends. Not having them (though, a little bit that too), but I mean the TV show "Friends." I don't get how it was so big. I've watched it plenty of times and I seriously do not understand the appeal at all. I can't stand it. I feel like if you grew up in the 90s - early 2000s and are a woman (or maybe gay man), you're supposed to love friends, but I don't. I can't. I tried. 

Also, I just started watching GoT (maybe 2 episodes) and I can't get past the boobs long enough to follow the plot haha! I asked my husband to explain it to me and he had a really hard time. He mentioned boobs and the dwarf character, who is awesome, but I am really interested to see if we can get into since all of my friends like it. DH is definitely sold!

My UO is that I don't get Seinfeld. DH loves it and I know it was a huge pop culture phenomenon, but I just don't get it. It's not funny to me.

My UO is that I am not a fan of morning sex. There is absolutely nothing attractive about the way I look in the morning and the morning breath?! Blehhh. On the RARE occasion that DH and I do BD in the "morning" it is almost always on a weekend, in the shower, after we've both brushed our teeth!
Sometimes when I CS people and their BD line is like: AM AM AM all I think is Damn they must co-shower a lot! Haha

@SienaC I hate, and I mean HATE, middle of the night sex. If you wake me up to have sex, I will be the most vile b!+ch the whole time. I think DH has learned this lesson for the most part.

My UO is that I hate drinking water. I almost immediately have to pee and when I'm teaching that isn't really an option. So I get dehydrated and get a headache around 3pm. I don't know how some of my coworkers do it when they are KU!!! I love summer because I can eat, drink, pee, wear normal clothes, and make phone calls whenever I want.

@hezzer78 I am currently packing for my bachelorette party. Luckily it's only one night because I don't like them either! Apparently two of my BM sensed it because they commented that I didn't seem excited. I can't wait to spend time with friends, but the whole wearing a cheesy veil and drawing attention to myself is not my style. Plus everyone with kids has some excuse about not being able to come. Well you would have freaked if you were in the opposite situation and I didn't show! I like going to bed before midnight and I have bad GERD, so drinking makes me feel crappy. And the worst part is I have to drive two hours!!! We are staying in a hotel, but still. Luckily 5/6 of us are not big drinkers or gamblers, so hopefully we will spend more time at the beach / pool than bar and casino.

@mollsagni Don't worry, the nudity calms down a bit. My FI loves to shout "boobies!" when they do show up later. I think it's down to once an episode or less when you get current.

@NYtino24 We shout "IT'S HBOOOOOOOOOO" and wave our arms in the air whenever we see nudity on GoT.

Late to the party. I hate hate hate bridal and baby showers too. Didn't want one, but my sister was so excited to do it, so I let her. 

But I also kinda hate regular showers. I much prefer baths (like two a day if I could), but showers are functional to get ready. It's not the actual shower that I hate; it's after. I have short curly hair - which means it needs to be dealt with. I can't even fathom that people can just let their hair air dry and still look good (I couldn't even when it was long). And when it was long, it took sooooo long to dry (the reason I chopped it off). 

So sometimes if my hair isn't too crazy and doesn't look like I just fought a gorilla in my sleep, I'll use dry shampoo instead. DH thinks it's gross and calls it shower in a can. To the point he'd say to the cats (from the other room), "Do you hear that? Mommy's showering," when he'd hear the distinct aerosol spray noise.
