It's confirmed! Pregnant with TWINS!

Saw my fertility specialist today and had our first prenatal ultrasound and we are in fact pregnant with twins. Heart beats 125 and 129. It was such a sweet moment. A little afraid of what comes with twins but we knew this was a possibility. Any moms out there carrying twins? This is my first pregnancy ever. I am 6 weeks, 5 days. Nausea kicked in this week with a few episodes of vomiting. Any advice? Anyone know if being pregnant with twins means stronger pregnancy symptoms? Feeling so blessed, excited, scared, and nauseous!

Congratulations. Twins are a double blessing, for sure. Symptoms are different with each pregnancy and are not more severe with the more you're pregnant with. I had very mild symptoms in the first trimester while pregnant with my twins compared to my friends with singletons.
I also suggest  joining your birth month board. There's more than likely a few other moms pregnant with twins or more.

I also am a first time mom pregnant with twins! 8wk1day. Congrats! Also having some fear of carrying 2 but since I've never carried 1 then I guess I won't know the difference!

Congrats! I'm 11w6d with mono-di twins and I've been reallllly sick since 5w on the dot, but this is my first pregnancy so I can't tell you if a singleton would be different. My mom had bad m/s with me and I get motion sickness just thinking about a boat sooo...  ;)

    GL and enjoy your two!!

I'm thinking I could be having twins, just mother instinct (also my mom had twins and I'm 34) but won't know until my first sonogram at 6 weeks.

Let me ask you as far as your POAS - was it dark right away? I had a very dark line at 10DPO (3-6 before before my missed period) and the 2nd line appeared INSTANTLY as I dipped it. I know these aren't signs but I"ve heard some people who said this was case for them.

What about HCG? I've heard that can be higher too if carrying twins...waiting to get mine back!
