Cycle Status

QOTW: With your LO's embarking on summer, are there any cool camps or events you plan on putting them into?
Me: 37 DH:41
10/2009 - TTC#1 Stopped BCP! Let's DO this!
1/2010 - BFP (Natural) --> 10/2010 - DS born! Yay!
12/2010 - DH diagnosed with stage 3B testicular cancer. #cancersucks
10/2011 - Complications with DH and lymph nodes in groin area removed. No longer able to ejaculate.
1/2014 - TTC#2 - IUI#1. No luck. Findings: DH sperm did not survive freeze. RE recommends IVF with ICSI.
3/2014 - IVF Cycle #1 Started BCP
4/2014 - Lupron, Gonal-F, and Menopur
5/7/2014 - ER day (25 eggs retrieved, 15 mature)
5/10/2014 - 6 fertilized, 3 embryos frozen - one grade A and two Grade B. Plan was to grow out to blastocyst stage but rest of eggs arrested by day 3. Decided to freeze on day 3.
2/9/2016 - FET #1 with Grade A (8 cell - 3 day embryo); 2/20 - Beta was <5. BFN.  :/ Waiting for period and start next FET.
7/8/2016 - FET #2 with Grade B (8 cell - 3 day embryo), fingers crossed this one sticks. :)
7/19 - Beta was 74. BFP!!!!; 7/21 - Beta was 182; 1st U/S on 8/2; 2nd U/S on 8/16 :)

    CD17 - I think I ovulated last night. Not really tracking with OPK's, just testing temps in the AM. Decided I'm holding off on FET until July.

    QOTW: I signed up our 5 yr old DS in Junior Giants (it's a little league summer baseball camp sponsored by the SF Giants). Otherwise, we will do the usual swimming lessons and maybe gymnastics.

    CD2!!!!!! WHAT?? My second period in 4 1/2 years! I called my RE and they scheduled me for a Day 3 hormone draw tomorrow, a mock transfer Thursday, and an HSG on Friday. Then I leave for vacation on Friday. They have to squeeze everything in before I go so it is a busy week. Next cycle (assuming there is another one) I will start estrogen injections to see how my body responds to before determining an IVF protocol and the way forward. I am ridiculously excited and never thought I would ever get here. I am ridiculously excited and worried about everything at the same time.

    LOs. She isn't old enough to be in school aged camps, but will do a few weekend classes.

    Kid #2 - maybe???
    Diagnosed with Severe Ashermans 
    Hysteroscopy #10 - scar tissue grew back reblocking my right tube
    #11 or IVF with scarring still inside?
    1 lone embryo from September 2016 retreival, dx with Trisomy 16, starting fresh

    CD15. We've been in limbo the last couple of months due to a cyst. We should be able to move on to our first IUI in June.


    QOTW: DS is only 18-months old so we don't have organized activities planned for him. Just lots of trips to the parks and zoo. We didn't take him swimming last year so that's definitely on our list of things to do this summer!

    @Flamingemu  - That is freaking awesome good news! I'm so excited for you and hope things work out for the best. I'm sure you are over the moon! Fingers are crossed and keep us posted. Better change your "kid#2-not likely" in your signature to "possibly". Hold out for the hope! YAY! :)
