@Drove2u I had my 1 hour test on Friday and the doctor called me on Tuesday with the results.
About me: Me 35, DH 36 (Unexplained Infertility, possible PCOS) TTC for 3.5 years. 10 clomid cycles (TI & IUI with ovidrel triggers - all BFN). *Loss mentioned & Trigger warning #1 IVF May 2015- resulted in 15 5-day Blasts - SET (fresh) with BFP. Ectopic Preg @ 5w2d, treated with Methotrexate. #2 FET, Sept. 2015, SET MC@8 wks with D&C in November 2015. 13 remaining blasts sent for PGS testing. 1 did not survive the thaw. 6 came back normal from PGS. #3 FET 5/16/16 SET - BFP 5/20/16 Beta's looked great and so did ultrasounds- officially released to my OB! EDD 2/1/17.
I go tomorrow for my 1 hour test and my Rhogam booster. I'm not looking forward to this . I feel like I should fast in the morning since the only thing I ever want for breakfast us cinnamon Chex. Good luck to everyone still waiting for results or going in this week!

@Drove2u I'm so jealous of your hospital, sounds awesome! I took my tour super early, at about 13 weeks because I'm new to the area and the OB I was transferring to only delivers at this one hospital so I wanted to make sure I didn't hate it. I almost feel like doing the tour again because I wasn't sure what to ask... But I know they don't have a spa lol... bummer!

I passed my 1 hr test! Plus my blood count and thyroid are still good which means no additional meds for my thyroid or iron. That was a relief after the week I've had. Almost had to go to Labor & Delivery on Tuesday b/c of some discharge that I was a little worried about.

@tulips29 apparently it doesn't matter too much what you eat. It's how your body metabolizes sugar. I've had the worst sweet cravings and eat sweets like crazy. Like sugar cereal, candy bars, cupcakes, cookies, cake...something every day and so I really thought I would fail. I'm going on a major diet after the baby is born. I do exercise a lot though: Zumba,barre, yoga and long walks 5 days a week.
I still have not received my result yet. I'm hoping I can call in the morning and find out. The lab that I went to could not give me my Rhogam shot, so I have to go to L&D tomorrow to get that.

@Drove2u oh thats good to know. Also, surprisingly that drink wasn't bad at all. My lab only had 1 type and it was a plain one. It had no flavor just tasted like a flat sweet water.

Had my three hour test today and it was fine, but not the most fun I've had in a while :-) I get my results in a few days. Meantime, we have our baby/labor & delivery/hospital tour this weekend!

@tulips29 I'm So sorry!! What does the 3 hour one entail? I was really worried I was going to fail. But maybe passing was my reward for having to get another Rhogam shot! Intersting fact I learned when getting my Rhogam. My blood pressure is on the low side, so if we decide to do an epidural I have to get a bunch of fluids first, I guess the epidural drops your blood pressure, so the extra fluids help it stay higher. So if you run a low blood pressure and want to do an epidural, make sure you are there in time to get your fluids!

@vssbrm that's good to know about low blood pressure and epidurals! The 3 hour test requires drinking the liquid every hour and getting blood drawn after each hour for a total of 3 hours. So it's a major pain in the behind, mainly because I have to sit at the lab for 3 hours now. I'm scared of failing and having gestational diabetes.

I had the 3 hour. I only drank the drink once and they test you on the hour for 3 hours after the drink. Not too bad. Just time consuming. Good luck!!!!
@Joyzie77 really? I was told the drink is every hour too. Hmm, maybe it really is just once. I don't mind the drink actually, I mind the blood draw more because I have 1 good vein that gets poked every time I do a blood test. So it'll definitely be bruised tomorrow after 3 pokes. Mom and I spent the day running around doing baby shower stuff, then made a test center piece. The theme is nauticle, when we put the flowers together for real they will be white jumbo mums And light blue hydrangea, not orange spider mums. I'm really excited for the shower now, it's not until the 13th.

Im having a serious case of insomnia tonight... been up since 4 am, our pup stole my husband's spot in bed, so he moved to the couch - since we have been staying w my parents for the remodel she started sleeping w my parents and hardly graces us with her presence - he did not have the heart to move her. So I'm hoping watching episodes of The West Wing for the 100000000000 time will help me pass out.

I'm getting registered for all of my prenatal classes, there are so many! I will probably call the hospital on Saturday to schedule our tour. I am feeling a little overwhelmed, but also extremely excited. What classes are you all going to be taking? We're doing a class called Natural Comforts, which is supposed to help prep you for a natural birth, baby care (bathing, feeding, swaddling), and then I'm taking a breastfeeding class (DH might come as they do info for partners too.) We're also looking into a basic infant CPR/First Aid class.

Good news! I passed the 3 hour test. Whew! I don't know if it was just all the time it took to get pregnant and therefore negative thoughts abound, but I was sure I was going to fail it and have gestational diabetes. Was so relieved when the doctor called. @Tulips29 - when are you doing the 3 hour? For mine, I had the first blood draw (baseline after fasting), then had to drink the drink, then had 3 more blood draws over the next 3 hours (so 4 pricks total). It wasn't fun. We had our labor & deliver/child prep classes this weekend and DH and I found them very helpful if not at least to give us confidence going into the process as to what might happen and what happens when you get home. Calmed our nervous a bit, I think.
We are doing our maternity shoot -- well really just Christmas card photos where I happen to be pregnant-- this weekend.

Going for a doc appt this morning. It's my first two week one. Not sure if it's just heartbeat and pee test or if there will be more. 30 weeks. Icant rememeber where someone asked about my baby shower dress but it's by Tiffany Rose.
dragonfaerie - we are taking a labor/delivery class that has 2 - 3 hour sessions and then the next weekend taking the breathing techniques class. I would like to take a breast feeding class but I may just take one of the free ones that babies R us offers. I know they have a newborn care class as well.
Drove2u - I think my ob said the 2 week ones are just like the monthly, they just are more diligent as we get closer.. when we get into the weekly appointments is when they do a little more. I have all of those scheduled out through my due date which is crazy to think about. Every Monday in Dec I'll have an ultrasound and see the OB & then on Thursdays they do a stress test but I'm not entirely sure what exactly that is. lol. I have my next big ultrasound on Wed to check size etc. I'm excited to see the little guy again b/c it's been so long.

Intersting fact I learned when getting my Rhogam. My blood pressure is on the low side, so if we decide to do an epidural I have to get a bunch of fluids first, I guess the epidural drops your blood pressure, so the extra fluids help it stay higher. So if you run a low blood pressure and want to do an epidural, make sure you are there in time to get your fluids!

The 3 hour test requires drinking the liquid every hour and getting blood drawn after each hour for a total of 3 hours. So it's a major pain in the behind, mainly because I have to sit at the lab for 3 hours now. I'm scared of failing and having gestational diabetes.

@Joyzie77 really? I was told the drink is every hour too. Hmm, maybe it really is just once. I don't mind the drink actually, I mind the blood draw more because I have 1 good vein that gets poked every time I do a blood test. So it'll definitely be bruised tomorrow after 3 pokes. Im having a serious case of insomnia tonight... been up since 4 am, our pup stole my husband's spot in bed, so he moved to the couch - since we have been staying w my parents for the remodel she started sleeping w my parents and hardly graces us with her presence - he did not have the heart to move her. @Drove2u so cute! I also love the fingerprint idea. Our friends actually did the same for their wedding, they had a tree painted and everyone put fingerprints on the branches along with their names. Then they framed it and it's such a nice keepsake.

Good news! I passed the 3 hour test. Whew! I don't know if it was just all the time it took to get pregnant and therefore negative thoughts abound, but I was sure I was going to fail it and have gestational diabetes. Was so relieved when the doctor called.

Every Monday in Dec I'll have an ultrasound and see the OB & then on Thursdays they do a stress test but I'm not entirely sure what exactly that is. lol. I have my next big ultrasound on Wed to check size etc. I'm excited to see the little guy again b/c it's been so long.

Day 5 Blastocysts: 8 sent for PGS - 5 Normal
FET date: April 12, 2016 - DS born Dec 7, 2016
IVF round 2: FET : Oct 4 - 1st Beta 188!
