Just in that fun time where my symptoms are starting to leave and I'm not feeling any movement yet so basically I've become doppler obsessed. And then I'm trying to not use the doppler very often because, you know, not much research on the effects and then I feel guilty and then its just a fun downward spiral from there.
How are you doing picking out a name? We'll wait to discuss names further after we find out what we're having. We've had a name for each picked out, but I don't think we'll settle on one until we see LO.

@jhems776 I have ADD as well and don't have much advice but seriously feel your pain. My grades in school are in serious danger. I do like to keep a tally system to keep me on track (I make a tally for every 30 minutes I spend cleaning or studying, among other things, and I'm supposed to get a certain number of tallies each week), but at this point I'm even sucking at that. At this point, my only hope against procrastination is sheer terror.
@missameliapond - Amelia was at the top of our list too, but DH has a goddaughter with that name so it's out. I didn't realize it had become so popular. Sorry that messes up your plan, but selfishly it makes me feel better about not being able to use it.

What are you excited about? Just booked my anatomy scan, which is in a month. It is on DH's birthday and we are leaving for a short baby moon/friend's out of town wedding right after the scan. Can't wait!

After using Letrozole* I had a big cyst on left ovary. It was 8...mm? Whatever metric they use to measure, it was 8 something. As of last week it's down to 3 so the fear of ovarian torsion is gone!
*This doesn't happen to everyone, but want to share since many TTGPers may consider ovulation induction in the future. It limited my activity in the first trimester and caused abdominal tenseness, but I was fine other than that.

Question - I have a bridesmaid get together for my best friend who will be getting married (I'm MOH) this Saturday and know there will be drinks. How do I avoid them without seeming obvious? I'm thinking either I make the drinks (mimosas and wine slushies) and leave the alcohol out of mine, or sneak it down a drain a little at a time? Any thoughts?

My goal is to have 2-3 solid contenders for each sex before we head to the hospital and then decide for sure when we see the baby.
*Questions, concerns or other? Echoing somebody else who said being in that space post-first tri symptoms and pre-feeling baby move is odd. PGAL brain sucks sometimes even in second tri -- can't wait until I can feel this little one wiggling around.
