Oh golly, I guess I'll go first! Sundays are pretty slow around TB, eh?

Also, I just want to say all the regs should definitely join the "TTGP Grads" private group. It's like a sanctuary where all my internet friends hang out! Lol!

*How far along are you? 11+4

*Which birth month board/due date? November 16, 2016! My OB moved my due date for some reason (previously 11/19). I disagree with the move, but at least it's only 3 day difference.

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Team finding out! Since I'm not eligible for insurance to cover NIPT, I'm strongly considering doing an elective u/s at a boutique place to find out the sex before the 20 week anatomy scan.

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share You guise. I'm so sad. I've had Amelia picked out for a girl for like 3 years (before I discovered Doctor Who! I just really like the name!), and DH found that it's #2 fastest growing in popularity for 2015. I was [MissAmeliaPond] S. for my entire life because my mom picked one of the top 2 girl names from the year I was born. I don't want to do with my kid if it's a girl. I need another name!!

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Hmm... I have my NT scan in a week and a half so I'm looking forward to that! The tips I've seen for getting baby to be more wiggly are drinking orange juice or eating a candy bar 45 min or so before your appointment. If anyone else has any tips, I'd love to hear them!

Thanks for the tag @MissAmeliaPond (PS my OB bumped my DD back by three days based on my 6w US which I disagreed with based on my O date...it got bumped right back to the original date at my NT scan because babes were measuring 13 and 13+1). When it was bumped back, I just looked at it that at least I have a few extra days before they would want to induce!

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? - Not much, super pu,per (wtf autocorrect?! *pumped) to have had a good NT ultrasound last Friday. Babies actually look like tiny humans now, which is too cool, and they're super active! Got some good pics of little waving hands and perfect little profiles.

Also, I agree with @MissAmeliaPond - all the regs should come join us on TTGP Grads (open to all active grads and "undergrads" of TTGP). It's a great place to hang out!

*Which birth month board/due date? By LMP, Jan 1 2017, By O date, Jan 5, 2017. I'm secretly hoping to have that new year's baby, but whenever it wants to come, I'll be more than happy

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? We're not even close to finding out yet. I'm still mulling over whether we want to find out or not.

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share OH continues to refer to it as "Damascus Pumpkin Spice [last-name]". Serious names we've considered so far: Jack, Henry, Sebastian, Calvin, Austin, Avery, Fiona, Clementine, Zora, Zelda, Astrid, Beatrix, Artemis, Lillian.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I'm still very, very early so I'm still in the anxious "oh my gosh will it stick!" stages, but I finally managed to stop peeing on sticks and it has sunk in. It feels crazy being pregnant when so much is going on (we're leaving to Denmark for an entire month--so weeks 6-9.5--in a few days and I'm nervous like crazy about that... and then once we get back, we're planning on buying a house!)

Omg, @MissAmeliaPond I am having the SAME EXACT name dilemma! My grandmother was Rosalie Amelia and I've been planning since way before I met DH to name my first girl Amelia Rosalie. I just recently found the same information about it blowing up in popularity and even though it's a family name, I HATE the idea of her being 1 of 4 Amelia's in her class. I'm really bummed about it but we've settled on another girl name that I really like. We have zero boy names. Everything just seems really trendy really over used or both.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I felt what I thought might be the baby moving a couple of times this week. I feel like I'm way too early for that though so I'm second guessing it now. It was definitely a feeling I've never felt before in my life and was for sure not gas. Can't wait to feel unmistakable kicks!

I have one that I like the meaning of, but I'm not sure I like the way it sounds with our last name and another that I really really like, but I think it's gaining in popularity.

@MRSCORKER and @MissAmeliaPond - Coming from someone who was one of FIFTEEN of the girls in her class of 79 students with the same first name, I'd LIKE to tell you it doesn't matter, but it kind of does. My parents almost named me Colleen, but changed it at the last minute to my current first name. Sometimes I wish they had changed it, but I also have a lot of memories associated with that name because of how many girls had the same name as I did. But there were SO MANY, not just in my class. If I had the opportunity, I would have changed my name. Just adding my two cents. Not that my opinion matters, I just thought I'd share.

ive got a super southern name but it's shortened to a unisex (though generally male) name. I got to have to nice southern name and also a fairly unique name. The only issue was when I got a surfer haircut in the 2nd grade (that grew into an oh so attractive haircut) and everyone thought I was a little boy. Nowadays I still get emails to Mr. But I just make sure I respond with my real name in my signature and it's No big deal.

@DoctorDonna I believe we have the same first name. I was finally able to ditch it for my middle name when I went away to boarding school and no one knew me yet. But people still call me both depending on how they know me, which can be confusing sometimes. Would have been so much better if they just went for it and named me my middle name first, but she didn't want to give me something too weird. C'mon. My middle name is beautiful though and i love that every time I introduce myself as that, I get to tell them it was my grandmother's name...

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Team patience. Actually, I'm doing well not worrying about whether this kid is a boy or a girl. I think mostly because I'm concerned with getting out of the woods first.

*How are you doing picking out a name? We had our top two names for each gender picked out pre-conception! Ambrose if it's a boy, Jutte if it's a girl. (And the alternates: Ephraim and Theodora.) I'm in the same boat as many of you--although my name isn't in the top 5 of my birth year, it might as well have been. There were three [PensiveCrayon] S.'s on my dorm floor when I was a freshman. H is all about picking names that aren't in the top 1000 within the past 100 years. Looks like we succeeded in that.

@MissAmeliaPond @MRSCORKER I also have a name that was really popular the year I was born, but it wasn't that big a deal for me (just to give you a different point of view). I did dislike my name, but mainly because it was a "preppy" name and I'm so not preppy. (True story - the association of my name with "preppy" girls almost kept me from getting a job once). So I guess the moral of my story is your kid may end up loving or hating his/her name whether or not it's popular. So at least pick something you love: that way someone loves the name.

@MRSCORKER@MissAmeliaPond I'm in the same boat as @britters314 in that I had a super popular name growing up (top 2 or 3 for my birth year). I was MonaLisa C. for evvvverything, even through college. It was helpful that I had an extremely unique last name growing up, so I was the only MonaLisa C. in the whole wide world, even though I have a super common first name. Now that I'm married, I have a super generic first name and literally the most generic last name on the planet, so I get a little saltier about it. So, all that is to say that the last name matters! If your kid has a generic first name but a nice, unique last name, it might not bother them so much!

Adding to the name discussion, I also have a super common first name, but my parents spelled it differently than most. They used a pretty acceptable way to spell it, not completely unique, and I actually like it now. I was always one of many in my classes. My maiden name is also super common, but my married last name is not, so now I'm in the awkward position of having to spell both my first and last names for everyone. I guess my round about point is that I have grown to like my common, but not commonly spelled name, and that last names make a lot of difference. I'm with @britters314, pick something you love!

We haven't discussed since last month. So not exciting. But strollers, I'm all over that.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I have my next ultrasound on Thursday to make sure baby is growing. I still find the while dating thing to be weird, because I got my positive at 3 weeks 4 days, and the OB scheduling staff thought that was pretttyy early. But if I'm measuring almost 2 weeks behind because I ovulated late.. Then I was like 1 week 6 days when I found out. That's just.. not working out in my head. I'm sure y'all are sick of me beating this situation over and over. Hopefully Thursday baby will measure back to where we are supposed to be!
**the doctor did not mention I have a tilted uterus, but both my mother and grandmother have one. Would that be a reason for difficulty measuring i.e. baby measuring smaller than it should? If I did happen to have one?

Love seeing all our grads!

Just to add to the name discussion, I have read that the most popular names now aren't nearly as popular as the popular names from the 80s and 90s when you look at the actual percentage of babies with a given name. So even if your name choice is #1, there's still a good chance your child won't be one of four in his/her class.

Thanks for tagging me! I wasn't sure if anyone really knew me around here since I participated here a lot more around a year ago and wasn't big on the daily threads. Yep my EDD by LMP/O is December but my U/S moved me to November so I'll go with that so I don't have to be the first to go through everything XD. I should be taking a break for school, but am clearly failing at that.

*How far along are you? I'll be 10 weeks tomorrow... supposedly. U/s puts me at 6 days further along than LMP and I'm not buying it but whatevs.

*Which birth month board/due date? November 28

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? We'll probably find out via genetic testing that I'll have done in a couple weeks.

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share I'm liking Isabel or Sofia, probably Mae for a middle name after GMIL. No idea for boys so we'll only worry about that if it becomes necessary. H is liking alliterative F names like Finn, which sounds ridiculous with our last name.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Being PGAL I'm nervous but so far, so good, and have made it considerably further than before so FX! I'm pretty sure I can feel my ute like a little water balloon, so that's cool and at least a little bit reassuring.

We found out last week we're having TWINS!! We had a dating U/S at what was supposed to be 7 weeks but the ONE baby measured only 6+1. One week later there were TWO measuring 7+2 and 7+3. I think they are underestimating my due date since they just pushed it back a week even though babies are measuring bigger - which is not common for twins to measure ahead.

Picking a name
We still have our lists (with new additions) with names we didn't use for one reason or another with DS - we were also team green.
I'm leaning more towards girl with this one and really like the name Devan. I'm scared to share it with DH because I'm afraid he'll veto. It's the only name I've come across, even on our lists, that I really like. I'm thinking Lily as a middle name (we're big HP fans), but I'm not sure that I like the two together.

Other
I had my first appt about 2 weeks ago and was able to see the HB on US. That's always reassuring. So far, I've told my mom, best friend and boss and we'll probably tell DH's parents for Mother's Day. One of my coworkers also knows because she figured it out. We'll probably make a public announcement on FB after my next appt on the 17th.

I have a super duper popular name of my generation and the one before me. I like my name and really like the flow, it's that popular because it's that good Only a couple times in childhood have I disliked my popular name, and other than that it has never been an issue in my life.

*How are you doing picking out a name? We are still doing awful picking out a name, have tried to stop thinking about it till after we find out the sex. It's not that we disagree but we like several names but do not really love any. At the current moment I think Brynn for a girl and Emerson for a Boy.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I think there was a few other people who were diagnosed ADHD/ADD, how are you? Any tips? I went off my meds (doc's orders) when I got my BFP, I was ok-ish till a couple weeks ago and now it's bad, like worse than ever before and work is starting to suffer. I don't think I'll go on meds during pregnancy but looking for something to help, this isn't 'just pregnancy brain' here.

Picking a name
We had a list on TB from forever ago but those favorited names disappeared. Now we have a word document to keep track of names, but it's definitely shorter than the last one. We keep adding and removing names.

Other
My first appt isn't until May 11, and from what I understand it is just for getting medical history and bloodwork, and then I'll be able to schedule my first ultrasound. I've been a little BSC waiting for more symptoms to arise. I thought I was peeing a lot before, but yesterday's piss fest really confirmed. And my appetite isn't the best either (unless it is sugary foods). So that's good?

@RatsPJ "traditional" pregnancy symptoms haven't really shown up for me and I'm 11+5 today. I started getting "evening sickness" around 9.5 weeks, which comprised of feeling tired and generally crappy/sometimes mild nausea, but no vomiting. I never got debilitating fatigue, giant boobs, headaches, or anything else. However, I had severe food aversions right off the bat (and still have them and also just want to eat the sugary things) - sounds like that's what you're having? It's definitely a symptom, just not one that's commonly discussed. Don't be too freaked out by lack of symptoms - it just happens to some people!
