Hi all, I didn't see our checkin post this morning, it's missing I and can't figure out what happened. I'm reposting it now... if you had already responded I apologize, please take a second to let us know how you're doing this week.
Good morning! I'm still in my IVF cycle, so no updates on my end. Hope everyone is doing well.
QOTW: What is your favorite TV show of all time? FRIENDS!!! I can watch it over and over a million times and it's still the best show around.

Hello all! I think I finally started spotting ever so slightly so I'm hoping that tomorrow is CD1. Will go in for baseline soon and start our IUI cycle.

Morning. Finished my second round of clomid they upped me to 100mg last month because 50 did nothing. Went in for my 24 day blood draw, and pap on the 18th still haven't heard anything. Also got the gaurdasil shot which me and my doctor were on the fence about me getting when I'm trying to get pregnant but she decided it was better for me. But now I'm 5 days late. And I still haven't heard back from my doctor about whether or not I even ovulated this month so I don't know if I should waste a test.
I also have a new issue. I vape (low to zero nicotine) and I just got a job at a vape/cigar shop. If I end up pregnant while working there what do I do? Do I quit, do I ask people to not blow smoke at me, or do I deal, or something else? I'm not sure and I doubt they would be cuz I'm one of like 10 girls that have worked for this chain ever.
@wifeinraleigh28 absolutely! I always say that every life situation can be referenced back to a Friend's episode

Hi ladies - I was an active poster here from August to December but I had a pretty bad depression/anxiety spiral back In January that I am just climbing out of so we've taken a few months off ttc. Id like to reintroduce myself
**trigger warning - previous losses mentioned**
DH and I have been married nearly 7 years and TTC since September 2014. I had a MMC (blighted ovum) January 2015 and a second MMC (stopped at 6w1d, never saw a heartbeat) in July 2015. Testing after the second MMC revealed PCOS and a small uterine septum which I had removed in December 2015. I'm taking a myo inositol supplement to help with the PCOS.
**end trigger**
this is our first cycle ttc since my surgery and I officially in my TWW.
@Goldenkeys how are things with your new house? I think last I was here you had just moved in.
@samanthaarielxo - is it possible you could work in the back like in a stock room or something so you could be away from the vapors?
@ceclarlinetlo we don't have a stock room. We have a humidor to store cigars and everything else is on shelves ready to sell. the vapor wouldn't bug me. its the cigar/cigarette second hand smoke that I'm more concerned with.
CD 26 for me. Tomorrow we see our new RE for the first time. I'm excited. Glad to be moving on. The Chinese doctor gave me some herbs and tea for endometriosis this month. I have brutal cramps and she states she can cure me. She also is convinced its my DH's liver that's holding him back so she is working on that.
@tulips29 and @wifeinraleigh28 Friends is also my all time favourite show. I own all the seasons and when it came on Netflix I convinced my DH to watch it with me. (He'd never really seen it) He still can't understand why I would watch it all over again. I also have lines from Friends pop into my head during life situations!
@samanthaarielxo I don't know what a solution to your situation would be. I personally would count 'Vaping' as smoking and think about quitting while TTC. There isn't a whole lot of study in either direction, but the information I've seen still say it's not healthy for you. I read in a lot of infertility books that say quitting smoking is one of the first things you should do. As far as working at the store, are people allowed to smoke in the building? 3rd hand smoke is a concern (Peoples clothes and hair smelling) My FIL and my step-MIL both heavily smoke and I've always said that I'm going to be the bitch DIL who doesn't let them hold my children unless they shower and change. But take all of this with a grain of salt...I am by no means an expert!
@ceclarlintlo I'm so sorry about your losses. I hope you were able to heal a little on your time off from TTC. Fingers crossed for your TWW.
I'm struggling. Our test was a BFN for this cycle unfortunately and the nurse told me we are out of IUIs so we need to come in for a follow up. Our appointment is on May 11th so the wait has been challenging. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about IVF because I assume that's our next step.

@goldenkeys I got a bfp yesterday with a beta of 174. I go back tomorrow for second beta. We're still not excited but if all comes back tomorrow and it's good news I will feel more comfortable. Not sure if it's too early to add me to bfp hall of fame. Maybe it is. Will update again next week. Those that don't know: I've gone through six iuis, one CP and one ectopic so that's why we're not excited right now. Got a bfp after our first Ivf.
I am 11dpiui and just waiting around for sat so I can take an hpt and beta test. This is iui#4 but first time on injectables and sadly i responded worse than clomid if this is a bfn we will consider another round of iui + injectables bc if i responded this badly that is a clear sign of possibilities of eggs with ivf rather save the time and money if chances are really low.
QOTW: Beverly Hills, 90210 was my favorite show and I still will watch reruns from the 90s ha!
Well I am back home. Still waiting on the final verdict on how many embryos we have. The plan right now is to go back and do another retrieval, and then do PGD testing on all of the embryos we have. I honestly am not even sure what we are blaming the infertility on anymore, but I am guessing the low sperm count and BT. Right now we ae looking into seeing if we can refinance our house and get some extra cash out of that to pay for that and maybe consolidate some of our debt.
QotW - I guess I would have to say Doctor Who.
Samanthaarielxo I never heard of a vape shop that lets you smoke cigarettes inside (I vape with no nicotine too), but that may be my state's regulations. I would say ask your Dr!
Hi ladies- just waiting for my beta on Friday and trying not to symptom spot.
I am a tv junkie so I'm not sure I can choose an all time favorite- but my new favorite from this year is Baskets on Fx. If you like weird humor you need to check this show out!

Hi All, Still in the TWW here. I only have 1 hpt left, so I'm saving it for Sunday, which is CD28 & 13-15DPO so AF is due that day or monday. We have a fancy dinner party that night, so if it's BFN at least I have a fun evening planned with LOTS of wine.
Favorite show of all time is probably The Office... just too funny

I just finished my last dose of provera and I'm waiting to start my next cycle of Clomid. It has been upped to 150mg so I'm praying this cycle is the one I ovulate with.
What is your favorite TV show of all time? That is so difficult for me. I watch so many tv shows! I'm going to go with RED DWARF. I watched it with my family as a kid, and I own the box set. They are basically the only DVDs I own (aside from Mulan, of course.) I am about to watch through it again.

@starlitfae technically we are not allowed to smoke cigarettes inside anywhere except a private residence or casino but the employees do. But we are considered a cigar lounge so cigars get lit up frequently and vaping obviously is a constant thing. We actually were talking about vaping and pregnancy today and I found out that their plan if a female employee is pregnant is just to keep the fans on when they are working and ask the regulars not to blow clouds of smoke or vapor directly in the face of the female employee.
Hey there! So I missed a couple weeks because I can't keep track of what day it is. Time flies when you're updating a house Finished painting, stained floors and final coat of poly this weekend! FINALLY getting a little together time again. Cause, you know, that's important to this whole baby-making thing, right?
I'm a FRIENDS fan too! I really wanted to get into Doctor Who, but DH decided to start watching episodes without me and I got lost.
Also, DH vapes - switched when I quit smoking. Wish there was more info about effects too. He's finally off his morning smoke since switching to a micro tank (I think that's what he called it), and was talking about reducing the nicotine. Don't know how that will affect things. I'm hoping someday he will decide it's too much hassle and just quit
Today is CD 12 for me, and also my IUI day! I went in this morning at 8. This cycle was a bumped up dose of Letrozole and a trigger shot. For the first time ever, I had two mature follies going into IUI, so I'm excited about my chances :-)
My favorite show of all time changes with the seasons, but I'm a die-hard Golden Girls fan! I'm pretty sure I have at least 4 seasons memorized down to the outfits lol
as for me, I am impatiently waiting to start my withdrawal bleed from provera. It's been nine days since my last pill and I haven't even started spotting yet. I have acupuncture on Monday and should be starting clomid sometime next week.
My favorite show is Star Trek The Next Generation

Hi everyone - this will be bit of a post and run as I have been super busy at work this week.
I caved and called the RE office this week to see if they had actually received our referral (sent about 6 weeks ago by our GP) - and she said it will be end of Sept/Oct when they can actually see us.
Initially I felt really crushed by this but at the same time I think this gives us time to mentally prepare and financially save up for the testing and treatments we will probably need. DH is also hopeful and optimistic that perhaps over the next six months we will be able to conceive naturally which of course would be a blessing.
In the mean time I'll keep at it with my metformin - I've also had about a 7 pound weight loss since I started it about 5 weeks ago so I'm really happy about that.
As far as favourite TV show of all time - I'm not too sure. We've been super obsessed with Suits on netflix which has become a new favourite. I never watched a lot of tv as a kid/teen/young adult.
Married since 2011 TTC since Oct 2014 DOR + MFI 3 failed IUIs; IVF August 2017
@ceclarlinetloWelcome back, and very sorry to hear of your losses.
We're on hold for a while due to thyroid complications. I was all set to do IUI #2 last week when we got the bad news that my levels were too hypo and had to cancel. We've adjusted my thyroid meds again, but won't know the results for several weeks, so likely next month's IUI is canceled too. Trying to keep myself busy and hoping for better news come June!
QOTW: I'm having too much trouble deciding on favorite of all time, but a couple shows I'm really enjoying at the moment are Twin Peaks and Game of Thrones. Also loved Parks & Rec, Breaking Bad, Arrested Development, and Flight of the Conchords (I'm seeing them live in June )

TTC since 2011
I am a tv junkie so I'm not sure I can choose an all time favorite- but my new favorite from this year is Baskets on Fx. If you like weird humor you need to check this show out!
No Folic acid/pharmaceuticals/supplements (too many to list- private message me if interested), IVIL infusion

7.5 MG Letrozole: No Follicles
9 MG Letrozole: 21mm Follicle no pregnancy

We actually were talking about vaping and pregnancy today and I found out that their plan if a female employee is pregnant is just to keep the fans on when they are working and ask the regulars not to blow clouds of smoke or vapor directly in the face of the female employee.

Married June 2012

And I quote flight of the conchords on a regular basis at work and when people have no idea what I'm talking about I make them watch that particular sketch pretty much immediately lol.
