Hey hey, everyone! What's the plan for your weekend? Anyone doing anything special?

Tonight I am going to an art museum with a friend and her boyfriend- DH is out of town until next Thursday so guess I will be the third wheel! This weekend will be beautiful weather wise finally in Michigan so I will probably spend all day Saturday in my garden- will be re-mulching flower beds, pruning dead crap from the winter, re-planting my dahlia tubers and planting grass. Sunday I am going to the musical Once- its based on a movie, if any of you have never seen it- you definitely should, the music is awesome. One of the songs won an Oscar for Best Song in 2007. I love musicals, I have seen so many!
@Spartanrd4 that sounds like a fun weekend! I wish I had a green thumb so I could garden when it's warm enough.
Tonight I think we might go grocery shopping - things are pretty bare in our kitchen. Tomorrow I'm going to do a longer workout and yoga and then date night with DH I might try to do a little clothes shopping since I feel like I don't have any warm weather clothes that fit right now. We're also going to take dog-o to the park, possibly with a friend and his dog, too.
This weekend the weather is going to be gorgeous so I'm really hoping to go for a good hike! Saturday morning I'm going to yoga with a friend and Sunday evening DH and I are having the in-laws over for dinner. I'm hoping to be outside as much as possible this weekend. Oh, and I'm cleaning out my vehicle because it is FILTHY from the winter and not being able to clean it as often as I'd like.
It's been a bad week; I should figure out something for DH and I to do tonight that doesn't involve perfunctory BDing and talking about cervical mucus. He asked for a lesson in fertility charting last night, so I passed onto him all my knowledge.
Today, it's beautiful and sunny so I'm going to attend to some of my seedlings. The cat ate most of my pepper plants and my sage is wiry, so I'm going to try to find a way to get them more sun indoors. We'll also probably start transplanting some of the tomatoes into larger containers, which means shopping for soil and rocks and such! I think it's Record Store Day? So I may go to the record store downstairs to support our local businesses on a day he's expecting more customers. Damn it, I was going to make him a cake to celebrate and it snuck up on me. I still have time.
Saturday afternoon, we're doing some book scouting at a private book sale my old boss back in Winnipeg emailed me about. The thrill of the chase is like nothing else. It's supposed to downright balmy, so yoga on the deck and lots of walks in the sunshine, I say.
Sunday, we'll probably get our taxes done. Womp womp womp
@Spartanrd4 Ooh, a museum. Is there a special exhibit? Last one I saw at an art gallery was a travelling collection of Faberge, which was super neat.
@mandi35 Yay, new clothes! I don't have any clothes except summer dresses.

@reneeannemm There isn't a special exhibit right now that I know of but they do have them a couple times a year. Since the museum is in Detroit they recently had a Frida Kahlo/Diego Rivera exhibit because they lived in Detroit and they also had a Salvador Dali exhibit which I loved. The best thing is the museum is free so you can just go there whenever you want and browse the beautiful art...its one of my happy places I hope you enjoy the weekend with DH....We aren't TTC right now but once we start I will go BSC which he is used to. I didn't think I would ever talk so much about mucus, periods and all that with a guy before but he seems fine with it. He just doesn't want to know when I'm at peak fertility per OPK because then he freaks out and has performance anxiety.
Oh boy we have a weekend ahead of us! But luckily I have the next two weeks kind of off because of the end of one semester and the start of the next. I say kind of because I'll still have some grading and emails but no teaching or heavy prep.
Tonight we're going out for dinner with friends - which should be nice - neither DH nor I are big on socializing but we try to push ourselves sometimes. Tomorrow I give an exam to my students at 8 freakin' am... then at noon I'll go to yoga at my gym (they only have one class a week) - and then MAYBE a fibre show (yarn and stuff) but we'll see how I'm feeling. If I'm too tired I won't go because I get indecisive and it stresses me out.
Sunday - I think we'll do taxes... and I'll continue with my 30 days of Yoga with Adriene on YouTube
No BDing because I'm on CD2 - but sleeping in and snuggles should likely happen

H and I have a wedding this weekend, and otherwise no plans. Probably just errands and cleaning - spring cleaning all around! Otherwise, we're trying to decide where to go on a long weekend in the next couple weeks. Any suggestions? We live in the PNW close to an airport, so we're willing to fly to other west coast destinations. Sunny and warm destinations desired!
Thought I had NM work, then call weekend, then going to TX...oops, missed a weekend and FREE! Woo! Still in PJs. Running group and yoga Saturday, maybe go to our favorite bahn mi place. My thyroid hormones are finally normal as of this morning but my TSH (from the brain) seems to not be catching up. Not sure if this is delaying us for TTC, can't see endocrine until 5/27...trying not to overthink it. Will enjoy a few beers in Texas next weekend with the family Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
@RiverSong15 I live in the PNW too. Gorgeous weekend so far!
This weekend is super busy and I am very much in need of busy/fun stuff right now so I am excited!
Tonight is date night- we are going to see Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals. So excited for both the music and the alone time with DH. It's rare for us to have dates lately.
*TW- children mentioned*
Tomorrow, my DD1 has dance in the morning. After that, she was invited to a classmates 6th birthday party so I am taking both girls to that since DH works Saturdays. I really love the mom of this family so I am excited to be spending time with them. My girls haven't bowled prior so they are looking forward to it.
*TW- cancer*
Tomorrow night I am seeing a best friend and spending time with her. She lost her partner in December to cervical cancer after she was diagnosed just last April, so she has been understandably reclusive and distant despite my best efforts. Anyway, I know we share a mutual love of bacon, so I invited her to a local event called Bacon Bash and she agreed! Awesome local restaurants each have tables there and concoct various creative or classic recipes involving bacon. We are both really excited for the eats, drinks and the time to catch up.
Sunday is church and I am getting out in the garden for sure. It's supposed to finally feel truly spring-ish this weekend.
@amberruka, it's always nice to see other people from the PNW here. This weekend is looking nice and early next week is supposed to be in the 80s here! This is the time of year I always feel the need for sun, though, and I'm feeling an urge to fly somewhere oppressively hot and sit by the pool all day...
Hopefully you get answers about your thyroid soon. I have Hashimotos, so I understand well the frustration with TSH values!
Woot PNW spring sun!! (Even though it's supposed to be cloudy again for us around Seattle this weekend.)
I'm taking my H to the airport early Sunday morning In the meantime we're doing Friday night pizza and Saturday morning sleeping in and coffee in our underwear. That's about all we have planned.
I hope you ladies have a good weekend!

Happy Friday, ladies! I am excited to be going out of town this weekend with two other couples to see Pearl Jam on Saturday! We are leaving after work tonight and I am literally counting the minutes. (Approximately 149 left to go...)
I am also really excited to be out of town this weekend because it will keep my TWW BSC at bay. Staying busy is key for me! I am trying really hard not to assess every potential symptom since most mirror the arrival of my AF AND, this time I have had some extra hormone help, so I truly don't know what's what.
Am I tired because I am growing a child, or because of the progesterone suppositories? Am I hungry because I am pregnant, or because I am a fat kid at heart? Am I moody because there is life coming from within, or because I am on a fun mix of extra hormones? Who knows?! No one knows!
I am hoping you each have a lovely and relaxing weekend!

We have a low key weekend plans. I just went and had a few pieces of art framed at Michaels. I have a million things that I have been slacking on framing so it's been my goal to get a move on. I usually do custom framing, but got a few off the rack frames and had them do a custom mat and it came out awesome. It's also like a fraction of the price which is a benefit.
Other than that, heading to my parent's house tonight for a dinner party. My mom actually is having surgery on Monday or Tuesday for a lesion on her cervix, so she is stressed and I just want to be there. I hate medical stuff, makes me anxious, so all good vibes welcome!
@SnobunnieMel I'm really freaking sorry. Please take good care of yourself.
