Nassau County/South Shore Nanny/Daycare options?

Wondering if there are any Bellmore/Wantagh/Seaford moms out there (or nearby) and what the options are for daycare/nanny sharing?

My husband and I work long hours (he is gone for 10-12 hrs a day and I am gone for 12-15 hrs a day) so an au pair is out because they have hourly caps...thinking about a part-time live-in nanny.  Interested in hearing what others are doing - our main concern is flexible hours (starting in early mornings, like 6am) and affordability.

Most of my friends in similar situations have live-in nannies. They have used the web, Facebook, and personal references to find a good fit. Expect to pay around 500-700 a week depending on your needs.
