I've noticed that a lot of the ladies here seem to enjoy Bible verses for encouragement so I thought we could start a thread sharing some of the verses that have given us encouragement throughout this process. I'll go first 
Romans 12:12 - Let your hope keep you joyful, be patient in your troubles and pray at all times
Hebrews 6:19 - We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure
Psalm 125:6 - Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy.
Mark 11:24 - Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours.
Luke 1:45 - Blessed is she who has believed that Lord would fulfill His promises to her.
Romans 8:18 - The pain that you've been feeling can't compare to the joy that's coming

My hope is that this thread would just be an encouragement for those of us who are tired and weary and need hope to hold on to. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

When we found out our twins (that we lost at 18.5 weeks) were sick I probably recited to myself 20+ times a day psalms 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God...." That verse brought me a sense of calm when things were happening that were totally out of my control.
I also would play Kutlass' 'That's What Faith Can Do' every night and lay it on belly for the babies to listen to. And after the MC I listened to Casting Crowns 'Just Be Held' and just kept repeating the line "Your world's not falling apart it's falling into place".
I was in a really bad spot and questioned a lot of things after my MC but feel so much better now that I'm back at church regularly.

This one really hit home for me:
Romans 8:18 - "The pain that you've been feeling can't compare to the joy that's coming"
and
Romans 5:15: "Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us."
Interesting - the phrase "... and it soon passed" is found in the bible around 85 times. All of this hurt, sadness, and anger will pass and we will find joy no matter where our journey takes us.

Also, I recently read the book The Circle Maker, and I've started to journal my prayers again. I go back and highlight answered prayers. Seeing all the answered prayers have given me confidence that he will answer my BIG prayer (a baby obviously). If you want to grow your prayer life, I highly recommend The Circle Maker.
