@BornReady I am so jealous that you live near the ocean! I have never felt more at peace as when I do when I'm near the ocean. My dad's side of the family live in Florida so I go down there about once a year. I swear I was a mermaid or pirate in a past life!
-Yummy breakfast eateries in town with good coffee on my day off. -Friendly and affordable nail salon to get a little pampering. -Rain! My lawn and garden were suffering! -You awesome ladies, as always.
@Bornready I wish I lived near the ocean. I'm smack dab in the middle of the country. We have the Great Lakes a few hundred miles away, but the ocean takes my breath away. DH won't budge on my constant whines to move to the west coast.
Today, I'm thankful for:
- Affectionate kitties. It's always hard to leave for a trip when you have one cat tapping your shoulder with his paw and the other headbutting you while you pack. I miss my fur babies already. I swear they know when I'm leaving.
- Sweet rental cars (van). I'm just a passenger for a trip and we've got one that has a DVD player! I didn't grow up deprived or anything but never had a vehicle where I could watch movies on a long trip. Oooooh yeah. NOW we're in Kansas.
Today I'm thankful for... -Annie Sloan chalk paint which has given me quite a project list and helped distract me from constantly stewing on the fact that I'm not ovulating.
-Stress relieving bath bombs and baths, ahh
-Lastly I am thankful that after nearly 13 months I have finally found the motivation to get back in the gym and get serious about getting healthy. I've been the last two days and have taken 2 walks with my pup on top of gym time. Goal is to be down at least 10 lbs, hopefully 18, by September and pregnant by the end of 2016!! Pretty big feat when you don't ovulate but FX losing weight changes that!!!!

-that I don't have to do anymore painting today and it's done except for touch ups! My whole body is sore and my knees and shins are all bruised from the ladder and kneeling lol -for my puppies as always -for you all as always -and lastly that I think I'll treat myself to something today for my hard work. I'd love a mani pedi but will probably go for an article of clothing instead
@BornReady I am so jealous you live near the ocean. My parents have a house on Lake Huron and I love going there...there is something so calming about being near water. And the 'you've spent your whole 'pregnancy' here' thing, totally get that. My first due date was two weeks ago and my second is coming up in July.
Today I am thankful for:
*a vacation...though it may be short {literally cut in half}, there is a pool, beach and frozen drink waiting for me
*todays mani/pedi
*the never ending support found here with you ladies
I will join @BornReady in being thankful for living on the coast. I can just look at the marshes or the ocean and feel more relaxed. It offers me (an often needed) perspective of my small place in the universe.
Today, I am also grateful for the thoughtfulness of one of my dear friends from college who sent me a GC in the mail for a local spa. She gave me a massage and pedicure for my birthday! I can't wait to use it.
And yes, as others have said, I continue to be grateful for each of you and this outlet and the compassion and ears you all offer. So thankful for the ability to share in this process with others who get it. xo

I am thankful DH and I scraped together the idea for a deck garden in the throes of the deepest grief over losing our baby. The things I've grown from seed are now tall and bushy and so green and thriving, you can't help but feel calm in looking at them.
I am thankful our community farmers' market has started up again for the season. Just a ten minute walk over to the park to get some fresh veggies grown in urban schools, or to chat with some other's in the community. I volunteered to feed the farmers one Thursday later this month and I'm grateful for the opportunity to get to know the people who grow the food I eat.
My husband. Unwavering, never cruel in the heat of the moment and pretty much perfect (aside from all the toots).
The literacy I was able to acquire as a child. My love for books and reading has saved my life and provided me with shelter from the never ending shit storm my life has been in the past.

I am thankful that the day I had to go over to the children's hospital for a stressful reconstruction is the day the OR decides to do an Oreo taste off. And I was "forced" to try 11 types of Oreos. Definitely brightens the mood
im thankful for AC and cold fruit when it's going to be 118 this weekend.
Thankful my acupuncturist was willing to time my session this week for dpo5 and move days instead of my normal Tuesday.
Lastly thankful DH is so involved in TTC this month. He reminds me "only positive thoughts" when I say something about "probably doesn't matter anyway" and that he is willing to push all the way through -6 to +1 sexing despite working all long weekend. He honestly cares what my temps do and seems to realize how much i put myself through every day. I think his mom had a long talk with him after I had a vent session with her while in Canada
Today I'm thankful for DH and the support he's showing for the very real possibility that this pair of liberal Canadians will be moving to Texas... It is a scary big decision but with him by my side, even with our problems, I know I'll be as safe and as happy as I could possibly be.
And I'm thankful for everyone here on the boards. I wish none of us were here, but since we are I'm glad we found each other.

My dog's vet. We had a little dog emergency yesterday and he needed to be rushed in. Thankfully he is doing well and recovering, but I love that I have someone I can trust with my original "baby".
Living in walking distance to restaurants, parks and stores. Something about walking to dinner out adds to the enjoyment of it for me.
The rainbow over our house last night. It was so nice to see my neighbors all coming out of their homes and taking photos, admiring it. Nature is cool.
Today I'm thankful for: - Losing 3 lbs since June 1st and getting a little sex drive back! I've struggled even wanting to BD outside our FW since our MC over a year ago.
- Bachelorette party weekend for one of my best girlfriends this weekend! And since I'm only on CD5 right now I can party it up

Today I'm thankful for amazing mentors and friends - they give great advice about job stuff.
I'm especially thankful for a new friend that I made at my future college. She's so forthright and doesn't BS - I feel like I can trust her and I'll need someone like that there because we all need someone like that.

@bornready I hope the rainbow you saw last means good things to come for you. Also glad your pup is on the mend.
@soontobemommahowe All of your things are/sound awesome! Have fun this weekend and be safe!
@catiecatp Isn't it so special when you find someone you know you can trust as an adult? It's so hard to find trustworthy friends.
Today I'm thankful for:
-My ability to keep calm after a BFN today. I thought I would be more torn up because I've been SS like a crazy lady, but I'm calmly accepting it, and pouring myself another cup of consolation coffee!
-I started my second job yesterday and love it. I actually love it more than my primary job. I'm hoping that it leads to great future opportunities. Also, the staff of the department have been so utterly welcoming to me, even though I'm basically a temp. I'm just astounded.
-DH has just been utterly amazing lately. He's always a good guy, but this week especially he has been great while I've had constant headaches and have felt crappy in general and have been working overtime.
-My rose bushes, which look spectacular this summer. I am really not much of a gardener, but I love flowers to look at!
Happy Thursday, ladies! The weekend is almost here!
Holy crap @BornReady where do you live??!! So beautiful!!!
Today I'm thankful: -that DH is home today
-that I'm finally feeling ready to work on facing my fears in an area most people would find silly but has been a struggle for me for so long: Driving. I drive but I'm still in the graduated licensing program because I waited so long to get my license. I just need the road test now but haven't had enough practice the past couple of years up until now to feel confident taking it. I might take one refresher lesson but I'm not telling DH or my family, I'm just doing it all secretly on my own lol My dad died in a vehicle accident plus I have my own fears around it, so it's a big thing for me
-it's cooled off a bit which will make renos and packing more comfortable
-I'm doing well with my workouts
-for my fur babies, currently snuggled all around me
-and as always, for you ladies and this safe space!
@BornReady I concur that pic is fabulous and it makes me itch for my vacation even more than I already am. I wondered if it might be New England. We have dear friends who live on the North Shore in Mass, between Boston and Gloucester. Our annual trip is one of my favorite things - for the weather, for the scenery, for the good times and for the company! Love it.
I am grateful that it is Thursday!
I am grateful that my parents gave me tix (my dad won them from a radio contest) to a killer concert that will be down on Saint Simons Island on Saturday. We will get to stay with a friend of mine on the island and then see my parents for lunch on Sunday on the way home.
I am grateful for air conditioning. It is hot outside.
I am grateful that most (not all, but most) of the people I work with are really wonderful.

Can I just start by saying I didn't realize today was Thursday and kept thinking everyone was posting in this on the wrong day
i am thankful for my snuggly beast of a dog. He has been super clingy this week and I love it. We have two and each is very much matched to one of us based on alpha nature for their breed. Mine is our 4 year old and he climbs up at 430 every day this week to lay right on me and doesn't leave my side when I am home.
I am am thankful my NP was so proactive and Drew RPL after our second instead of waiting for a third. We caught my MTHFR and can hopefully prevent a future loss
most of all I am thankful for Friday tomorrow and each and every one of you
@BornReady I'm so jealous of where you live! I live in bum fuck KY and it is boring and hot and HUMID and all we have is a muddy river that smells like fishing bait.

Also thankful for my puppies.. little furry bundles of love to greet me after a rough day! ( or should I say "ruff" day Very thankful for my job lately, although I get super frustrated at times, I respect everyone I'm working with and that's awesome. I'm also thankful that they have a very casual dress code so I can be less stressed about dressing for work. the little things I guess.. Oh, and wine. Preferably red.

Wooooo, farmers' market tonight! Last time we were there they have big hanging baskets with a bunch of lettuces and onions for making salads and if they have that I'm going to take one home. I didn't want to carry it the walk home last time, but this time I am prepared. They also had Trinidadian chickpea curry for sale last time that was sold out, so maybe we'll grab that for dinner!!

My friend finally had her baby a couple days ago. He was born via emergency c-section (for less stress on him) at 3 lbs and it was dicey for a while afterwards, but mama and baby are doing A-OK. He's in the NICU for two months or so, but this was an extended period of not knowing and I'm so, so, so happy for them. They will be tremendous parents and these are my first friends to have a baby, so it's a new feeling.
*TW over*
Gorgeous temperate, breezy weather today. Perfect for lounging on the swing and watching the new Degrassi series on Netflix. Who cares if these issues aren't relevant to my life anymore?? It's Degrassi! Maybe the next Drake is on there right now and I can watch them grow into a bizarre meme-able rapper-singer mega star taking my city to new heights.

Today, I'm thankful for a great practicum placement! I started it yesterday, and it's part of a state-mandated endorsement course that'll certify me to teach students with severe/profound disabilities. Currently, I'm licensed to teach students with mild/moderate disabilities.
The student I'm working with this summer was born with a chromosomal deletion that renders her nonverbal with a profound intellectual disability and a host of physical impairments. She's such a pretty girl and incredibly sweet. Her paraeducator will be present during our lessons, so I'll have assistance (namely with toiletry and other health needs). I can't wait to learn and teach in my placement.
I noticed, when looking at my summer schedule, that I'd planned a practicum visit on my EDD. I decided to keep it there, since I think it'll help distract me during the day. DH has class until 2PM, so I'm on my own in the morning anyway. That's exactly 1 week away... Okay, happy thoughts for now!
@reneeannemm How's the new Degrassi series holding up? That's on my summer watch agenda! I'm trying to catch up on Game of Thrones first (and failing to do so, because it's not a series I can binge-watch.)
@dubcompanion I could definitely binge watch Game of Thrones. I think after Season 6 is over I am going to start from the beginning and watch them all over again- they have all the seasons on my cable On-Demand. Also I am going to a Game of Thrones Trivia night in a couple weeks so need to brush up on some things (I may be slightly obsessed though lol)
@Spartanrd4 GoT is dark, so I need brain breaks!! However, a true testament to how much I love it is that I watch it, despite the violence. I don't even like PG-13 violence...
I tried to watch The Walking Dead but just can't. It always resulted in me asking DH what was happening onscreen while covering my eyes with a blanket. But GoT? I'll watch it. Gotta watch it. Can't not watch.
@dubcompanion A little shinier than the Degrassi I know and love. I used to go home on my lunch breaks from high school to watch reruns of the Degrassi Junior High and Degrassi High. I also watched the first five seasons or so of The Next Generation, but I'm not sure how it compares to the last decade of it. One episode dealt with consent (hooray!) but another was majorly, unapologetically biphobic, so I'm undecided at the moment.

Today I'm thankful for this! Writing thank you cards in the sunshine on our deck while my fur baby basks in the sun beside me
Also very thankful how much it has gotten me out of my funk to be able to talk about my feelings with a group of ladies who truly understand and don't think I'm crazy!
This may sound completely lame but I am so thankful for the skin care consultant lady I met at the department store today. I've been having ridiculous breakouts but didn't want to spend a ton for a product I may or may not like. The lady actually listened to me, recommended an affordable trial pack of product, and gave me a boatload of samples of other products to try so I could find something I actually like. I love people who actually care!
Im thankful for a good friend who I got to have a nice breakfast with today.
Thankful for DH, who took me on an amazing date last night and just loves on me.
Thankful for this community, for all the support and knowledge shared here. I'm thankful for the humor even on the hardest days. You ladies rock.
@SoonToBeMommaHowe your pup looks so sweet! I wish mine would lay like that on the deck but she usually won't. We should do a 'Fur Baby Friday' and all post pics of our fur kids.
Anyways...
Today I am thankful for our realtor. We have decide to look for a new house. The market is crazy right now and we're not in a hurry, but I am kind of looking forward to the hunt, fixing it up or changing things. DH was like, "you're going to go all HGTV on this house, aren't you?" YUP but our realtor is awesome and hopefully it will be a fun and not stressful journey.
Watermelon. I am obsessed with all the fresh veggies and fruits of this season (@reneeannemm I am so jealous you have a Thursday night farmers market!) So far I've had really good luck with them and I just bought another this afternoon.
Lake life. We are headed up north tomorrow after my doctor's appointment and I can't wait. The weather looks perfect and the beach is calling my name. I take our dog paddle boarding and kayaking, which is always so much fun. I am hoping it will all be a good distraction from POAS...haha
Friends who send me cards via snail mail and brighten my day.
Living near the ocean and having a beach day yesterday.
Fresh fruits and veggies.
My village that makes my life feel more manageable when it is crazy.
Health insurance. One of my stim meds for my IVF cycle was $5K before insurance. WTF. I paid nothing, but how the F do people do this out of pocket?!?!
A bit difficult to find something to be thankful for today since I started my day with a BFN. But work is almost over for the day and then I am going to barre class which I love and meeting a friend to go see the movie The Boss. So I guess Im thankful for fun after work plans which will hopefully cheer me up.
I'm thankful you posted your OPKS. It helped calm my crazy because ask @dubcompanion I was going absolutely psycho over those.
Just a huge thanks to everyone here. Many of you held my hand on the miscarriage board and now you're holding my hand through TTCAL fear and I wish I could send you all to Vegas for it.

i am thankful for my snuggly beast of a dog.
We caught my MTHFR and can hopefully prevent a future loss
most of all I am thankful for Friday tomorrow and each and every one of you
Oh, and wine. Preferably red.

Ambrose born on his due date!
I tried to watch The Walking Dead but just can't. It always resulted in me asking DH what was happening onscreen while covering my eyes with a blanket. But GoT? I'll watch it. Gotta watch it. Can't not watch.
Edited for sense-making

Also very thankful how much it has gotten me out of my funk to be able to talk about my feelings with a group of ladies who truly understand and don't think I'm crazy!

Im thankful for a good friend who I got to have a nice breakfast with today.
Thankful for DH, who took me on an amazing date last night and just loves on me.
Thankful for this community, for all the support and knowledge shared here. I'm thankful for the humor even on the hardest days. You ladies rock.
Anyways...
(@reneeannemm I am so jealous you have a Thursday night farmers market!) So far I've had really good luck with them and I just bought another this afternoon.
Lake life. We are headed up north tomorrow after my doctor's appointment and I can't wait. The weather looks perfect and the beach is calling my name. I take our dog paddle boarding and kayaking, which is always so much fun. I am hoping it will all be a good distraction from POAS...haha
Today I am thankful for:
Friends who send me cards via snail mail and brighten my day.
Living near the ocean and having a beach day yesterday.
Fresh fruits and veggies.
My village that makes my life feel more manageable when it is crazy.
Health insurance. One of my stim meds for my IVF cycle was $5K before insurance. WTF. I paid nothing, but how the F do people do this out of pocket?!?!
