@NovaSaysNo sorry you are going through lots of stress and the side effects from clomid. Hope you get some relief soon!

WAYDTGKTFU: BD EOD, still taking a break from temping, which is fine with me. I know my approximate O day from 8 months of temping. We just BD EOD a couple times extra before and after what I think O is. I'm just so over it at this point.
R/R/CS: I think O will be this weekend sometime. Ready to get to the TWW, really. CD3 testing is up next if not KU. If we get there, fine, but I still am trying to have a little hope of it just taking 11 months. Nobody wants to hit the year mark, of course, but here we are... Staring right at it. Sigh...

Update: I got my period! So finally I can move to CD 1 and hope that the Metformin does its job this cycle for me! I'm just happy to be on cycle 3 before hitting month 6 and have hopes of ovulating
WAYDTGKTFU: all the things...started SMEP yesterday
R/R/CS: I'm not even 30 but my body is already rejecting night shift. I wake up with migraines most night shifts, have terrible sleep and get night shift pukies all the time now. I'd look for another job but my current employer offers a top up to 84% of my salary for the first six months of mat leave and I can't turn that down, which makes me want to get KTFU even more than I already do...
GTKY: Zoos make me sad...I feel like all the animals are depressed...I guess if I had to pick one, I'd say penguins.
@atcwag - I'd say you're right and you O'd on CD 19...try putting in a false high temp for tomorrow and the next day see if it'll give you CH...or switch the settings to FAM instead of Advanced? I've heard some complaints about the way Advanced has been working since the update.
@lcsrva - I usually start CD 12 but I consistently O on CD 13-15 so that's probably a bit late if you're not sure of your usual O or if you're not super consistent in O days. I'm trying SMEP this month so I'll be starting them tomorrow on CD10. If you have wondfos or other internet cheapies, I'd say earlier is better so you don't miss your surge!
@houseofsetter - fingers crossed your temp drop = O dip!
@MrsDho11 - your chart looks like your body is trying really hard to O...don't give up hope! Maybe you're just going to O late this month. The six month mark is tough, sorry you're coming up on it
@EDnurse15 - your chart definitely looks like a night shift chart...I feel your pain! I've found that for me, there's no point temping when I'm on nights as I get falsely high temps that don't match my chart at all so that might be a problem for you too. I typically either take and discard night shift temps, or I don't take them at all. I'm typically able to get enough information out of the "normal" day temps but ymmv.
@comealongponds - If I put in another high temp tomorrow, it doesn't give me CH. I'm already on FAM, and nothing changes if I change to Advanced either. I had EWCM up until 2 days ago with a drastic decrease after and creamy today.

It might also be a case of your temps just being to unreliable because of nightwaking/nursing. this month I have been able to see a shift, but my temps are way rockier than they were when ttc #1.
WAYDTGKTFU: Took EPO until yesterday, using TTC lubricant, lots of BD
R/R/CS: No signs of EWCM yet. This is the first month I've tried EPO, and either it hasn't helped at all or maybe it's delayed ovulation, like I've read that it can do. But between using the TTC lubricant and lots of BD, maybe it's possible that I missed it among all the other fluid-type things going on down there? So frustrating!

@cjt121413 I've never reported a + OPK, and I've always gotten solid crosshairs. Do people usually get dotted? Is FF just smart enough to know that that is normal for me? Haha.
Alright, I’ve been away for a few days wallowing, but DH is occupied with Halo, so I’m going to knock one of these posts out while I’m baking cupcakes for tomorrow.
@atcwag - Yeah, we had to deal with some performance anxiety (again) this cycle as well. It’s tricky@ I don’t think you have CH yet because you don’t have enough high temps. If you get a couple more high temps, I imagine that you’ll get CH. But given what I see so far, it could go either way on whether or not you Oed. I think the next couple temps will be telling. It’s going to take a couple higher temps though, I think, not just one. Also, holy huge quote box! You should definitely trim those trees next time!

@longliveregina - I was hoping nursing wasn't going to be an issue. Who knows though. He's only nursing AM/PM and also before nap on weekends when I'm home, so typically 2x/day, 3x sometimes. I have had some insomnia issues/waking early to pee.
@MrsDho11 - Thanks. I'll see what temps look like the next few days. Also, mobile was being difficult and not allowing me to delete text boxes/type outside of text boxes. So annoying!
****lurking from Sept 2016****wanted to check in on you ladies!!
@atcwag- you do need 3 higher temps than prev 6 to confirm O but reading your additional comments about BF I believe I've seen others on here who have said their temps were affected by that too. My only other recommendation would be switching to vaginal temping to see if that doesn't make things more consistent but you have to wait to do that till next month. If you are checking your CM and are confident about that, I'd def take that into consideration too and maybe use OPKS also if you aren't already? Hang in there, this journey is a roller coaster but the ladies on here are great and full of knowledge!
@smokie1516- do you guys have a pre baby bucket list? Can you do a weekend getaway? 8 months was hard for me too. My best recommendations would be too find something else to focus on, easier said than done I know. I also really got into my adult coloring books.
@lcsrva- If you are using Wondfo's I'd say start using them at least once a day starting tomorrow? I've also heard that afternoon is the best time to catch the surge supposedly although I always was able to turn an OPK in the AM with FMU, so its different for everyone. Maybe start using the Wondfo's 2 x a day on day 15 or if you think you see a 2nd line before then start using them more often. Good Luck! I really like the $1 store OPKS too- I know the wondfos are cheap but I really didn't like them.
@MrsBinPA- So sorry to hear about your puppy!! I hope everything goes well for you guys!!
@H4aPartyof5- I'm sorry about CD1. I'd at least call and make the apt if I were you especially if you have fairly "regular" cycles. So much of the testing is based on timing and where you are at in your cycles and its even more frustrating to have wait on that. Also, I'd strongly encourage you to seek a 2nd opinion if you don't think your current RE will be receptive to seeing you before the year mark. We saw one RE and he immediately recommended IUI even though my HSG was clear and DH's SA was very good. When I told DH he was not happy. I already had an apt booked with somebody else thank goodness and we were able to start testing on that next cycle. The 2nd dr recommended a post coital CM test, he said it was somewhat old school but could still give us some insight into things and we'd go on from there after that. He also said some dr's are more inclined to do things one way vs others just because that is how they run their practice. So if you are able to get a 2nd opinion from someone at a separate practice, I can't speak highly enough of doing so.
@itsmehere1212- have you tried vaginal temping? are you a mouth breather/snore? Have you been drinking alcohol and seen large temp spikes? Has the outdoor temp been consistent where you are? Many of us saw temp changes when the temps outside were changing. If you have or haven't adjusted what you are putting your heat setting on, how many blankets are on the bed, what you are wearing to bed, etc, you may want to try that also? Also have you been able to confirm O in the past? Temping takes a few cycles to really get and even for those of us who had a few months under our belts, its still confusing and frustrating at times!
@houseofsetters- sorry you are frustrated!! Have you previously confirmed O? Your O date can vary from month to month, for most it is pretty consistent, but it can vary for many reasons.....have you been sick, traveling, lack of sleep, temping at the same time? Even if you have always O'd on CD 17 I would try not to expect it to always happen that day. I typically O'd anytime from CD 18-20 and the month we got our BFP I'm almost 99% sure I O'd on CD 17. Which again, isn't far off from my "usual" but it was early. Hang in there!!
@mj8215- regardless of temping or not temping, I would not go around advertising to DH that you are O, unless he's overly interested. Especially if you are concerned about performance anxiety. Most women around here compare this whole thing to the movie Fight Club. We don't talk about fight club except with those in the club. My DH would have an idea of when FW was, but I wouldn't try to focus on it. If I turned an OPK or I thought my temps were going the right directions, I'd send him flirty texts or greet him at home wearing lingerie, things like that. It's hard because you don't want it to lose out on the fun and that can happen quickly if its too science based. I guess it really depends on your and DH and your personalities, but you may want to keep some of it to yourself still.
@MrsDho11- Sorry about the frustrations, I can completely relate. I was not the same person I was the 1st month of our journey that I was in month 8. I was so frustrated, so emotional, my heart literally hurt and I didn't want to even keep trying some days. But the only way to make it happen is to keep trying. Have you tried vaginal temping?? May want to try it next month? Also, your temps don't look abnormally low to me- I'd have to see your temps from previous months, but you also can't take too much stock in temps month to month either because they could be wonky for one reason or another......Be good to you!!
@EDnurse15- I agree with PP- temps look to be on the rise. Is there a happy medium of the 3 hours of sleep and same time to temp? Like if you get home at 8 AM and are sleeping by 10 AM- do you normally get up to pee at the same time? and have you been sleeping for 3 hours or close to it by then?? That would be a good time to try to temp. Also, you may want to try to temp vaginally for better results. Good Luck!!
@Mlight28- Hugs to you lady!! Thinking about you!! Glad that you have the blood work lined up, but I will pray you don't need it!
WAYDTGKTFU: Temping, charting, and getting to business.
R/R/CS: I'm expecting my temp to spike tomorrow, and I'm actually looking forward to the TWW. H and I joke about "business" sex during the fertile window, but it definitely felt like business this month. **TMI** is it true that saliva can get in the way of conceiving? Sex is less exciting than normal when we're in the fertile window because we avoid oral...
GTKY - What is your favorite zoo animal? Probably the giraffes. I like how awkward they are.

@MNturnsVA, the doctor I was referring to is actually my usual OB/Gyn (really her NP) who told me to call back if we were not pregnant in a year. She may just have thought that we would be knocked up before then or maybe that is just their standard practice regardless of age (I was 35 at that appt.). Like you and @MrsDho11 suggested, I think I will call them to discuss (or set up an appt. to discuss) possible next steps and/or request a referral to one of the local RE offices. If they want to put me off for a few more months, I'll probably pursue an RE appt. independently just so I can start getting things checked out. My cycles have been decently regular - 25-28 days, but my LP has been a bit "odd" as it's been from 8 (or 10 depending on the app) to 14 days. Of course that's only 5 months of charting so not a lot of data per se. Anyway, thanks very much for checking in and for sharing your experience; I truly appreciate it.
Thanks @MrsDho11 , I think I've decided that my cm wasn't actually watery today. Mystery cm. After 6 full months I still struggle with cm sometimes. At least when it is ew I can for sure tell!
**Lurking from TWW*** @babymish <span>@MrsDho11 I think your CM tends to support an O on CD24 as well! Andplusalso, if I have my own charts as a basis for comparison, I feel like my temps generally zig-zag more pre-O and then smooth out post-O, which is what I see happening in yours, too. So maybe you are already in TWW! FX you get some more temps that make it all much clearer. ;) And if so, Hey!!! Here's to great timing, lady!

@H4aPartyof5- If you were 35 at the previous apt, I would not even bother to continue with the OB office. I would just make an apt with the RE. Or call them first anyways. The 1st RE we saw did ask who referred me but I didn't need a "referral" per say. I did get copies of all the testing my OB had done up to that point, which was just blood work and some of my previous medical records because they found a small "reoccurring" cyst on my L ovary and a small fibroid somewhere. So I did get all of those portions of the med records to bring with me to the appt. The 2nd RE asked who my OB was while we were going over all my personal history in his office. But I didn't need any "referrals" per say from my OB. Also, my OB would not order an HSG because they said it was too invasive and that was the 1st thing the 1st RE wanted to do. My OB did do the order for DH's SA, but that was relatively simple and the 1st RE's name was on that too actually, so really, I'd say just skip the middle man (the OB) at this point and get to the RE. Well, that would be how I would handle it depending on how quickly you are trying to make this happen. Good Luck!!
@Sparty18 thanks. Hope the spay goes smoothly. If she tolerates the Elizabethan collar you shouldn't have too hard a time. Thankfully our guys did great with the cone of shame.

@MrsDho11 - Thanks. I'll see what temps look like the next few days. Also, mobile was being difficult and not allowing me to delete text boxes/type outside of text boxes. So annoying!
Edit: spelling.

@babymish <span>@MrsDho11 I think your CM tends to support an O on CD24 as well!

@houseofsetters @Mlight28 @MrsDho11 @MNturnsVA thanks!! Surgery is a go for Thursday as expected.
@lcsrva I think waiting until things are starting to be less dry is a good plan. Last cycle I started with watery & should have started with creamy.

WAYDTGKTFU: in between ED and EOD (aiming for ED, but not stressing if we miss a day here and there. I find it's easier for me to be to keep momentum going... we tried EOD last cycle and it ended up being not EOD at all....this time I decided I would try ED (DH is good to go with however often I want) and it's actually easier/less stressful for me!
R/R/CS: nothing right now...just really hoping this is our cycle!
GTKY - What is your favorite zoo animal? Elephants maybe...my dad could make a pretty realistic sounding elephant trumpet....had everyone else at the zoo fooled, anyways! haha. DH and I went on a safari this past summer before starting to TTC and it was AMAZING...way better than a zoo!
