Anyone else currently in 2ww hell? I have my bets on Feb 8th but I will probably cave and test on Saturday (11dpiui).

How is everyone holding up?

Me!!! It's horrible! Before I got this far I was thinking to myself, I can wait I don't need to take a test. But now I see how hard it is not to test before your beta. Just want to be prepared. I also have me beta on the 8th! At least we have the Super Bowl to get us though that final day. Ive been trying to hang out with close friends and having family game nights with my siblings. Going to the movies. I go back to work tomorrow so we'll see how that goes.

Hi!

I also have my beta scheduled for the 8th. Going a little nuts over here as well. I actually contemplated buying a maternity shirt at Target today... crazy person status.

I am also trying to hold off on home pregnancy test before the big day. I tested on my first IUI and actually think it made everything worse. I'm on my 2nd IUI: 10dpiui and feeling some tenderness in my breasts. Didn't experience that with the first IUI, so I'm staying optimistic.

I'm on for the 8th also! I am thinking I will test Saturday or Sunday just to not have to hear the results at work, but I'm really trying to hold out!!

I really wanted to have my beta done the Friday before (2/4) so I could have the whole weekend to deal with the news. My RE said it was too early though, even though my IUI was on 1/21. Oh well. Hoping this week goes by quickly!

I have my beta on 2/8 too! I tested like a mad woman last round. I lost a little bit of hope everyday and it made my 2ww so miserable. I haven't tested yet this round, but probably will on Friday since I'll be 14dpiui. I'm having breast tenderness but I usually have that when AF is coming. But I also have some cramping and nipple sensitivity that is maybe different from last time. I don't know. I feel like I drive myself insane symptom spotting. Fx for BFPs everywhere!

@NurseTMD85 ugh I'm SO guilty of symptom spotting. I smell something weird and think, "ooooh smell sensitivity!!!!" lol.

I did the same thing last IUI - testing every couple of days and drove myself crazy. At least I expected a negative though. Right now I find myself acting/thinking like I'm already preg (popping a prenatal vit thinking, "gotta keep 'the bean' healthy!") and it might kill me to hear bad news. I don't know... I can't decide what to do!

I will be 14dpiui on Friday too... might test then. I'll keep y'all updated. FX for those BFPs we all want so badly!!

I absolutely knew it was too early and I still broke down today. Of course it was a BFN. But I didn't have a great feeling about this round from the beginning so I won't be shocked if it didn't work. At this point I'm just trying to decide if we continue with something that isn't working, or pull out the big guns and move on to IVF. I have an insurance max and I don't want to blow it on IUI.

@NurseTMD85 I am right there with you! I keep wanting to test, but I'm telling myself to wait another day. If you are close to the insurance max and could do IVF, I would probably switch to that, knowing the odds are better and your insurance will cover it.

@babylonghorn16 that is very strange if you had iui on 1/21 14 days would be thrs 2/4 this week. I am in the tww week of 2/1 just peeking in how you all are feeling/symptoms and I had my iui 1/21 with BETA sheduled 14 days after on 2/4. Wishing you the best of luck!

@Starlight811 I thought it was strange too! I even tried to move it to Friday so I didn't have to suffer through the weekend, but they said no. I guess they are just trying to be safe? Not too sure, but excited (and a little jealous) that you'll know this Thursday!! FX for you!

@NurseTMD85 don't give up hope just yet! It could still be too early. Don't count yourself out until the beta. Wishing the best for you!

Symptom spotting for the day: breasts still a bit tender (and I think a little fuller), slightly moody, achy neck and back, and exhausted. Thinking most of this is due to stress at work though. I did have a weird symptom last night... a sty appeared on my upper eyelid. Hurt like a mother, but when I woke up this morning, it was gone! Weird.

Anyway, good to hear from you all! Here's to another day down and less than a week to go!

@babylonghorn16 - how many DPO are you?
I have the exact same symptoms. It's so hard not to spot, but these "symptoms" are so hard to ignore! My breasts feel VERY full and heavy. I'm only 8DPO though, so who knows.

Thanks ladies! Testing again tomorrow or Friday. I feel like if my beta is negative, I like to be prepared.

My breasts are also full, heavy and painful. Even to walk. Sometimes this happens when AF comes so I'm trying to read too much into it, although I feel like it's lasted way longer than it usually does (started with mild tenderness Saturday). I've been having intermittent AF-like cramps that last like an hour and then go away, mixed with random sharp or pulling pains. Also - a lot of saliva which makes me want to vomit. But, again. I feel like all of this has happened before, so I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much. The progesterone toys with my emotions. I wish I would have kept a journal of my symptoms last round so I had something to compare. i keep thinking everything is just a little different, but I have such a terrible memory that I don't trust myself.

Not much longer ladies!!! Still keeping my fx for all of you!

@laurenlalap I'm about 12-13 DPO... IUI was done on 1/21, so I'm 13dpiui for sure

@NurseTMD85 Feeling the same. So much saliva that I accidentally drooled on my husband when we were cuddling on the couch lol... poor guy. Not sure that's a symptom though - I've never heard of increased saliva during pregnancy, but there are a lot of things I don't know about pregnancy!

Noticed some weird discharge today. Taking the same dose and brand of progesterone as last time, but noticing A LOT more mess. Ugh, so many little things to look too much into! Monday can't come soon enough!! At least work has been really busy... days are flying by! Hoping the days are moving quickly for the rest of you!! Thanks for listening.

I'll be testing on the 12th. The next week needs to hurry! Been having a lot of watery cm today and have been slightly cramping. My first IUI was last cycle and decided to take a break this cycle. I started going natural this month and a month ago, I started taking Vitex and Primrose. I never had this feeling before and not sure if I did ovulate or not? I should of tested but decided to relax this month. I should be around 6dpo.

The cramping could be due to implantation! Not to put any ideas into your head

! I have cramping too, but I'm blaming it on the progesterone. So hard not to over analyze every little feeling though.

I can imagine why you decided to relax this month. I'm thinking about doing the same if this cycle isn't successful. This is my 2nd IUI, and it's just a lot of worrying and waiting. Not sure I want to do it 3 times in a row.

*Possible BFP*

Does everyone but me have willpower? I'm amazed at you ladies who wait until your betas... so very smart!
I swore to myself I wouldn't test until at least Saturday but I caved and took a FRER tonight because I'm dumb and was bored. I was expecting a faint, faint, faint line which would have been my left over trigger.
Well, I got a dark line. I'm 8DPO and I've only ever had this dark of a line when I had a BFP at 12DPO+ (multiple losses).
I don't know what to think. My mind is racing. I also did a google image search and no one has had a test this dark at 8DPO. Maybe it's a faulty FRER.
My mind is spinning!

@laurenlalap I'm not sure about dark line on a FRER at 8dpo. I've never done a HPT after my trigger, so not sure what to expect there. Sounds promising though!! FX that this is the real deal!!! I would run out and get more to test... that's just me though

@babylonghorn16 I took progesterone also and had cramping the whole two weeks. I really thought I would be pregnant. I haven't had any implantation bleeding yet and just the crazy amount of cm. TMI but it feels like I peed myself lol. GL to you also and hope this is your month!! When are you testing?

@laurenlalap That is super exciting! I hope it really is a true BFP! How much dosage was your trigger shot? Last month, I tested at 9dpo and it was super duper faint and kept staying faint all the way to 14dpo. I guess test again tomorrow morning and if it's darker then maybe it's true. GL!!!

@Jlowen2 what type of progesterone are you on? I've been cramping a lot and it scares me that it might be be AF. I've also had a lot of cm. I think "oh no" and go to the bathroom and I'm scared to look and to wipe but it's just cm lol

@laurenlalap yaaay! I hope it is! I'll be 7dp5dt tomorrow and I'm thinking of testing l but don't know! It's so hard!! Originally I just want to wait till Monday but the closer i get the harder is it to wait.

@HaveHope&Faith I'm taking 100mg of progesterone (generic) twice daily. Causes cramping, mood swings, a lot of cm. I've been wearing a liner this time around because it's gotten pretty messy. Just in case our minds weren't playing tricks on us already, we're taking medicine that gives us preg symptoms! FML.

@HaveHope&Faith I was just on the normal progesterone suppositories 100mg I think. I know the first time taking them, they cause intense pregnancy symptoms and keep your period away until you stop taking it if you are not pregnant. I hope you get a bfp!! I'm not on progesterone this cycle but kind of having aches and pains here and there.

@babylonghorn16 GL on Monday! It's super hard not to test only a couple days before the blood test. Hopefully it's positive for you! If it works for me, then the vitex definetly worked because I never can ovulate on my own and I am really positive that I finally did this cycle.

@laurenlalalap Hope you don't mind me lurking. I think since you tested with a frer, which is so sensitive, it's probably picking up the hcg still. Especially if you didn't test it out so you don't really have a basis for reference. I tested out my trigger and I still had a pretty noticeable line at 8dpo with a regular sensitivy test. I think it would be highly unlikely to have such a strong positive so early. I hate being a Debbie downer but I'd hate to have your hopes up then find out otherwise

I totally feel like AF is coming, but the progesterone won't let her. My doctor advises me to keep taking it until AF arrives or I have my beta. But the waiting for it to come when I absolutely know it will is miserable. Especially when I'm all bloated and crampy and cranky. Has anyone disobeyed their doctor just to get the show on the road? I mean the longer I wait to stop, the longer I wait for the next cycle. Any feedback would be awesome!

@jlowen2 I hope that's a good sign for you! Are you on progesterone?

@smdrodgers I'm in the same boat. I want to have hope, but I don't want to be totally disappointed either. Its a tough balance. 11 days is still a little early for a HPT BFP so I'm still crossing my fingers for you!

@NurseTMD85 I completely agree with you just wanting to stop and get on with things (also to stop dealing with the mess honestly) I haven't stopped mine, I won't until after the beta, but the last time I took it, it completely screwed my next cycle. 21 days and lots of spotting.

@NurseTMD85 Do NOT stop taking your progesterone.

When I got my BFP, I had very AF-like cramping and moodiness, just like AF was arriving. The vast majority of women experience NO pregnancy symptoms until at least 6 weeks of PG (2 weeks after 14dpo). The only thing I hear women say repeatedly is that the only thing they feel is AF like cramping.

I feel like it lessens the blow. But I will totally take your advice and keep on with the progesterone. And congrats on your BFP! Hope you and baby are doing well!

Today has been very interesting. Took my progesterone like usual, but when I went to the bathroom, my panty liner was soaked with brown blood. Not enough to cause my undies damage, but it was enough to scare me. Called my nurse and she said to keep going as usual unless I started to bleed heavily. I've just been spotting the same nasty brown color all day. No clue what's going on. Have some minor cramping, but nothing like my AF cramps (I have pretty severe AF cramps). I'm so freakin confused. So frustrating when you have no idea what your own body is doing. I've decided I'm going to HPT tomorrow morn. I'll be 15dpiui. So ready to get this TWW over with.

@Jlowen2 I do not, sorry. It was my first month on vaginal suppositories (crinone) too, so anything I experienced wouldn't be too helpful. It was actually the first time I had success waiting to test and ignoring symptoms, so I really don't remember having anything other than cramps, which seemed to only happen in the evening for 2 days before and a week or so after. It was also the most stressful 2WW of my 20 month journey (work issues), so I thought for sure I was out the whole time.

Well it looks like AF was just playing mind games. Took HPT and it was BFN and then AF came in full force. How nice. So it looks like I'm out for this cycle. I really thought that this cycle was the one. That's the worst thing, I think... I just feel so stupid for convincing myself and my husband. How could I misread my body that much??

Sorry for lurking, @babylonghorn16 , I got my BFN this morning as well and I have the exact same feelings. I was somehow so convinced that this was our month . I am not a superstitious person, actually totally opposite as being a scientist but this time I let myself read all the coincidences/signs that showed that this is meant to be. I tried not to symptom spot but I totally did. And now on top of being sad, I am feeling so stupid because I believed in this. But I think this hope and belief is the only thing that keeps me happy and sane during this misery. So please do not feel stupid, I hope that it will be our time soon ! Hugs to you

I'm still going in on Monday so we can do the baseline for my next cycle. I'm over the initial shock now... trying to get myself ramped up to start cycle 3! I will be enjoying copious amounts of wine this evening though, and then dry until the next disappointment (which I hope doesn't come!).
