Ok, I know this can be totally "normal" for a healthy pregnancy, but my only 2 other pregnancies have both ended in miscarriage so I'm freaking out. I'm 6 weeks 3 days. I've been having mild cramping on and off all day, it almost feels like the start of period cramps. I've haven't had many symptoms yet - just extreme fatigue. There's no bleeding at all, but I still can't shake the feeling that I'm going to lose this one too. My first ultrasound isn't until next Tuesday. I know you all have no way of knowing this one will be ok, but I needed to just vent this somewhere.
Also hi! I'm kelly! I've never introduced myself I had a missed mc in Oct. 14 and lost our baby girl at 9 weeks to Turners Syndrome in October 15. I'm just so anxious with this one lately.
First, I'm so sorry about your daughter! Second, welcome to the group and Congratulations! I'm no expert and I'd call your dr if I was in your position but I can tell you my 1st pregnancy I felt cramping often early on and that ended in a healthy boy. I also had period cramps that woke me up in the middle of the night and I knew something was wrong. That's when we lost my daughter at 16w4d. So I really don't have a great answer but with your recent loss do you think your dr could get you in sooner? Keeping you in my thoughts & prayers!
Thank you! I spoke with a nurse at the office this morning and she said as long as the cramping doesn't intensify and there's no bleeding that she thinks it's just growing pains. She said to just plan on next Tuesday still as my first appointment unless anything changes. Hopefully she's right and everything's ok. I just wish I could shake this anxiety!
I had cramps and cervical pressure at 5 weeks -- the same symptoms I had just before my second loss. But it turned out to be nothing and now I'm almost 14 weeks. I hope everything turns out okay for you as well. I know how hard this is.

Hang in there momma! 2 more days and hopefully you can take a great big relaxing breath. I haven't had a pregnancy to term yet, but my sister had cramping through out her whole first, and her beautiful daughter just turned 12
Such a frustrating update @pellylang! Just know we've all been there and had those what-ifs. My appointment on Friday was cancelled due to my doctor needing to do an emergency delivery. I was able to get in to see the nurse practitioner so I was able to hear my little girl's heart beat but those extra days were so rough on me. I get a lot of anxiety before an appointment. It may not help you much but one thing that helped me is telling myself that I am pregnant today and nothing I do will jeopardize my baby and nothing I can do to prevent another miscarriage. If it's going to happen you can't really stop it.
Mommy to an angel baby and a sweet little girl Earth side.
@pellylang - I am so sorry about your loses. I know how difficult that is. I am not as far along as you are, but I also have mild cramping/twinges. I had that in my previous pregnancy to for the duration of it. My OB and RE have assured me that it is normal as long as it's not painful (more just being aware of it/uncomfortable). I don't know if that helps... About your appt--oh no! how rough! the time is so agonizing. Is there anything you can do to stay busy? I find that it helps me to try and focus on something else--cooking yummy meals, exercise, binge watching.

Thanks ladies for all the support! I will definitely try to plan some fun stuff this week to keep my mind off it and to remind myself that today I am pregnant and should try not to stress!
Do keep us updated! I have also been having those same cramps and I've been panicky but haven't had any bleeding. Take deep breaths and redirect your thoughts! Hopefully when you go in everything is fine. FX for you!
I had period like cramps especially on the first few weeks that I found out later were growing pains. Just keep in mind that there would be nothing you could do to stop miscarriage at this point so whenever you start worrying think "there is nothing I can do but enjoy this moment of being pregnant with this little person right here right now." It isn't always easy but brought me some peace in those early days when I was anxious all of the time. 20 weeks now and still get nervous but I try to let it pass knowing that I am doing every thing I can to keep it a healthy pregnancy. Good luck and I just know that doctors appointment is going to go GREAT (when you actually get to go to it!)
What I experienced with my loss, and was told when I got pregnant, was that bleeding will always come before cramping in the case of a miscarriage. I know it's a bit of a blanket statement, but if you're not bleeding, you should be golden.
^^^ yes. I had tinges of brown in my cm for a week before I found out I had a missed miscarriage and then with my last miscarriage I went to the bathroom and saw a lot of blood and clots and I knew, then I felt cramps that were stronger. Your baby is probably growing! With my first pregnancy with my son, I had lots of cramps throughout like I was going to get my period and it never came and when i knew I was pregnant with him, they were still there! And all was well:) so if no blood you are okay girl
UPDATE: I FINALLY had my first scan yesterday and for the first time in 3 pregnancies, I got to see my little bean's heartbeat! All is well. We moved up my due date a couple days (which I love!) and my doctor said everything looks perfect. It was such a breath of relief to finally get past the first scan. Today I am now 8 weeks 6 days, which is the day we lost our daughter in October so there's a little anxiety, but it's definitely gone down since yesterday.
