Son had surgery...baby's behavior after surgery?

So my son was vomiting and it was so scary. We took him to the hospital and it turned out to be pyloric stenosis. He had the surgery yesterday and we are all home now. The surgery went well but i am wondering peoples experience after surgery for their infants. My guy is only 8 weeks old and he is very sleepy...i just want to see if others saw this in their babies after surgery? Thanks !

If you are at all concerned I would be calling the Pedi right away.

Yes..we spoke with them. They said is can be normal and to just watch him for the next 24 hrs. I was just curious about others experience.

My Lo had surgery at 18 months. He was sleeping for the next 2 days. I think it was just the anesthesia wearing off.

DS had double hernia surgery at 8 weeks and all he did was sleep after for a few days. Then things returned back to normal. Wishing your LO a speedy recovery.
