This is a weekly check in for the lucky ones who have made it to the 3rd trimester!!! If you are in week 28 or past, feel free to join in on the weekly fun.
If you're just joining us, please post a mini synopsis in your first post with your EDD, how many beans, if you know the sex(es) and how you have been feeling in 3rd tri along with any appointment updates.
Hi ladies. I'm still here but I think not for long! Been having a good bit of cramping, and hoping that it all turns into actual labor and contractions soon! I have my last ob appt tomorrow AM, and if I'm not in labour then my doctor wants to schedule an induction. She doesn't want me going past my due date by much. Which means either way I should have a baby sometime this week! I can't believe it.
On that note, someone will need to take over the check in next week
I feel pretty lucky that over all this pregnancy wasn't too hard- but the last couple of weeks have been pretty uncomfortable. Ooph.
As for what we have left on our to-do list, we are pretty set. I still have to sterilize bottles and my breast pump, but I'm hoping to EBF at least at first.
Ugh. I still haven't gotten a CRIB. I'm thinking about getting a loft bed for DD1 to free up some floor space in the room. Nothing is gonna get done BEFORE this baby hatches.
14 effing days til RCS. Aghhhhhhhhh

Hang in there @potatocastillo. This is our first, I can't imagine trying to get everything ready with one already at home! 2nd (or more) time moms seem pretty damn heroic to me.
Hi- I'm 38 weeks tomorrow. Can't believe it's finally the last 2 weeks! Started mat leave today and waiting for the carpet cleaners to get here. Have a few more items to buy and I'm all ready. I discovered grocery delivery service and I'm never going back! My semi-feral husband shops like a 2 year old, throwing random items into the cart and then pouting when I remove them. The concept of a list eludes him and if I need qty 1, he'll buy 4 just in case. Yes, the $6 delivery fee is cheaper than dealing with the mess above. Usually, I go alone, but can't manage it by myself anymore.
I am new to this check in due 4/09/2016 with twin boys.
Very happy to have made it this far!
Seeing the MFM again on Thursday to check on baby b's omphalocele and talk more about where to deliver, they mentioned scheduling a C-section at 37 weeks but having me go up and stay by the hospital at 35 weeks until delivery, ugh. I live two hours from there, our local hospital does not have a NICU, neonatologists, or pediatric surgeons on staff.
QOTW: Sadly everything, I do not even have car seats yet.

I wish I could take over the check in, but as my babies usually come early I don't want to just do it for 2-3 weeks.
I am at weekly appointments and will probably have one more u/s to check her size. If she isn't here by 39 weeks we will be having a c/s. My DH and I can't believe she will make it that long. She is so low, head down and I am thinking my mucus plug is slowly passing.
QOTW: I need DH to go to the home improvement store and get a few things and then spend a good part of the day hanging items and we should be done. Wall art, curtains, shelves and a mirror. The car seat and bassinet are freshly washed and ready to go. After he hangs everything I want to organize and decorate a little and then wash her clothes and blankets. I still haven't found my nursing covers and a few other things from our out building...slowly we will get there.

Am nervous today. Went to my nonatress test and it was good, but the girls are definitely lower and I have a lot of pelvic pressure. I swear the one is punching my vagina she is so low. This evening I has spotting an cramps. I am 35 weeks and 1 day pregnant. I was hoping for another 1-2 weeks! Hope things settle out.
QOTW have an appointment in am to get car seats fitted and need to buy some bottles. Other than that, need a glider and to decorate the nursery and make it all pretty.
It sounds like there is a lot going on this week with everyone! I'm hitting the 3rd tri wall and things are really starting to get uncomfortable in my hips. The little bean is active, and I swear he's going to punch or kick his way out of me. Last week's appointment went well, and now I start going to the OB every two weeks.
QOTW: We put the crib together last weekend, and I'm sift through lots of saved and handed down clothes. My friends are throwing me a sprinkle next weekend so I hope we pick up all the odds and ends we need.
