Have been experiencing a rapid heartbeat after eating a big meal. It lasts about a half hour or so. Anyone else experiencing this? Also not consuming any caffeeine so I know its not that.
This happens to me ALL the time! It almost makes me dread eating (almost...I still eat though). I'm not sure what causes it, but I'm assuming it has something to do with the spike in blood sugar along with the increased blood volume. But I'm no medical doctor, so I'm just guessing. You're not alone!
I've noticed this, too. Maybe it's because it takes energy to digest food and so much of our energy is already being used up by our baby? So it gets the heartrate going. The littlest of things raises mine. I'm kinda over it lol!
