When everybody else's baby got a flu shot did they have to get a second one a month later?

We got LO's first flu shot at her 6 month appointment. We'll be getting her second shot next week (nearly 4.5 weeks later).

Yes. The first flu shot a child ever gets needs to have a booster. Then every year afterwards, only one shot is needed.

I want to make sure because we've had to switch doctors office just to get my daughter medical treatment and one doctor at this office keeps pushing her to see a specialist she doesn't need to see
