Back pain

Hello,

I've had a sharp, stabbing pain in my right mid-back for the past 2 weeks.  It is not like the aching or soreness that I've had off and on throughout pregnancy, it's a very sharp pain that takes my breath away if I move the wrong way.  I am heading to the doctor this week.  I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if it's pregnancy related or something else?  I've even looked up symptoms for kidney stones or a kidney infection but do not have any other symptoms.  It is getting unbearable to the point where I'm waking up at night and having difficulty standing or sitting for short periods of time.  Any advice would be much appreciated!
