I'm new here to the board. My DD uses disposables but I have a co-worker who is a new parent who wants to CD. They're having a boy and I wanted to get them something for the CD route since a lot of people are criticizing their decision. They haven't had a lot of CD items bought off their registry yet. What do you think would be the best item to get them? Budget is about $50. Any help is appreciated!
@meghanjodino Absolutely! It's awesome of you to be so supportive of her adventure into CD. I had a lot of negativity when I told people I wanted to go that route also and it's tough!
or which ever one they have one their registry. Thats something they will use everyday.
Do they have a registry? I would look on there and buy a couple of the brand specific cloth diapers they have asked for. Or some of the cloth specific baby care items--- like Cloth Diaper safe detergent and CD Safe diaper rash cream like these:
Thanks so much for all the feedback! I'll do some research and see what all is offered locally and online. We only really have a babies r us and one upscale boutique. Thanks again!
I know this is a few days old but if you could share a few CD related items from registry I'd love to give input! Some friends of mine didn't really get it and stayed away from diapers but did get me wet bags, liners and snappis. Wet bags are a must so if they have those listed go for it! Grandma El's is a pretty widely loved CD safe diaper cream and you can get it on Amazon as well if you want to do a theme of items
