Rh negative and light spotting

Hi I'm a first time mom and am almost 7 weeks pregnant. I was already given the rhogam shot for very light spotting but I am still experiencing very light spotting. We got an ultrasound and already heard a heart beat which is great! But the light spotting even after the rhogam shot is making me nervous. Anyone else experience this?

I wouldn't worry to much about it unless you start to bleed intensely. I'm RH negative to.
Early spotting is normal. As far as the Rhogam shot, they will give it to you at I believe it was 27-28 weeks. If your concerned, go to the ER & have yourself checked out again.

I am rh negative and starting at 7 weeks had light bleeding (and one instance of extremely heavy bleeding). I had a rhogam shot when the bleeding appeared and have them scheduled every 12 weeks just to be on the safe side. I am now 17 weeks and haven't had any bleeding for awhile. Good luck!

Same thing here. I had bleeding at almost 6 weeks so I went in for an u/s and Rhogam shot. I've continued to have spotting off and on until a few days ago. I've had two u/s since the initial one and everything has looked ok so far.

This is a good question for your OB. I am also Rh negative, but never had spotting in my first pregnancy, so I can't speak to this. Good luck!
