I am in my first trimester (5 weeks) and have been taking pre-natals vitamins the day i found out I was KU. I would have been taking them sooner but I wasn't expecting it to happen so quickly.
My pre-natal vitamins have 800mcg of Folic Acid. I also bought some Luna bars as a mid-morning snack at work. These claim to have Folic Acid but the box does not say how much each bar contains.
My question is: Is is safe to keep taking 800mcg of Folica Acid and also have one of these Luna Bars when I start to get hungry in the morning before lunch?\
