Ftm 32 weeks, having pains

Ftm 32 weeks, on bedrest. I am having stronger cramping/back pain pretty consistently for the past 24 hours. I tried tylenol, warm bath, heating pad for the pain. Last night I couldn't sleep It was way too uncomfortable, plus I was nauseated. I have a low tolerance for pain so not sure if these are real contractions or braxton hicks? I was admitted @ 29 weeks for contractions/positive FFN test & given nifidipene to stop contractions and am still taking it at home. Dilated to only a tip of the finger when I was checked in hospital, they said that's like a 1, no change as of last week's ob appointment.

Any advice is much appreciated. TIA!

  • Call dr or go to L&D. If you're already on bed rest and the FFN came back positive, you really need to call and get checked out.
  • .... I got nothing....

    1. OP - Call the doctor

    2. PSA -  As we all near the end of our pregnancies, it is imperative that everyone stock up on the life sustaining, get me through the newborn phase in one piece miracle drug that is Nutella.  You can buy an industrial size tub of Nutella!  I highly recommend it because really... one can never have too much nutella

UO but I actually don't like nutella... I'm ashamed to actually admit this because I know everyone loves it!!
  • I don't like Nutella either.
    There I said it!

  • Ya me neither....
  • I don't like Nutella either.
    There I said it!

I don't mind it in small amounts.. Like if I have a piece of toast a little bit is ok but I don't add much and the toast has to still be warm do it spreads easier and is more like melted chocolate.. But the Nutella shake from steak and shake? Umm no.. Too much Nutella for me!!
  • OMG Nutella is a staple in this house!

  • I only like it with those breadstick looking things.

But then they give you too little sticks!! Atleast for people like me that only like it in small amounts.. My brother eats the sticks and Nutella separate because he loves the stuff..

And yes I realize Atleast is two different words but for some reason it puts it as one word and then I get the little red line and then it will say no replacement available..
  • So I was having a crummy day recently and needed comfort calories... Marshmallow, peanut butter, and Nutella quesadillas my friends! Amazeballs. Next time I will make it with mini marshmallows instead of Fluff....
  • Yep, call your doctor.
Also, if you can't tell whether or not you are having real contractions or bh contractions ... How in the hell would we possibly know?!

    That sounds freaking amazing.

Sadly, I will have to wait post-baby to enjoy. Damn gestational diabetes!
  • I'm in NZ but if ya wana shout me a plane ticket to wherever you are I'll def fly over and tell you to go to the dr cos I'm not a dr and have no idea :) but seriously a lot of those symptoms r symptoms of early labour and your already at risk so just go!

I'm from the UK but a friend lives in NYC, on his last trip home he brought me Nutter Butters. I sat there dipping them in a tub of Nutella. It was beautiful.
  • Jar...spoon....mmmmm *drooling*
  • I'm pretty convinced you don't need anything with Nutella other than a spoon. Really whatever gets it out of the jar and into my belly works for me! Nom nom!!

(Stopping at store on the way home...)
  • It's 9pm and I'm now making nutella stuffed pancakes, thanks ladies!

Yeah I don't really like it either. Now milk chocolate spread? That's a scoop of heaven.
