We finally feel comfortable enough to tell people we are expecting. We sent this to our parents and siblings last weekend to announce to them. It feels good hearing how excited they are and having their support.
@rojabonita that is beyond adorable! Congrats on your baby and your decision to enjoy this special moment when fear can be all encompassing. We are waiting on getting our family photos back before we announce on social media... But we've told all close friends and family.
I posted pictures of my firs u/s on the fridge and every morning when I wake up it's one of the first things I see which makes me smile. I've also finally told my mom after my first u/s and it felt amazing to be able to talk about it rather than feeling like I was keeping something from her.
One last thing that makes me smile is although we went through a very tough time and losing our first was such a heartbreak, my SO and I are stronger and happier than we have ever been. I couldn't have asked for a more supportive and giving partner this time around and every day, that makes me smile
I just wanted to let you ladies know it's a struggle and even at almost 36w now I constantly worry at every ultrasound, heartbeat check, and when I don't feel him move for an hour. I feel like he knows sometimes that I just need one kick to get through and he will knock me a big one. Just keep swimming!

We told my in laws with a "welcome baby" and "baby girl" balloon on Saturday. They were super happy. My MIL suspected from when I was just a few weeks in and was so happy. My SIL is already on planning the baby shower. I'm feeding off of their excitement while still counting down the weeks. I'll stop worrying once I have her in my arms!
