omg!! I seriously hate this wait. I need distractions so here are two questions for now.
1. What book are you currently reading or have read last? Did you like it?
2. Any fun Labor Day weekend plans?
I'm currently reading Last Night in Twisted River by John Irving. It's a really long book (over 500 pages) and I'm only on like 140 but so far so good.
Over Labor Day I'm going to lake George Ny and camping out on an island for four days. Lots of boating cooking and laughs with friends. I'm going with three other couples. Can't wait. Won't have wifi or cell service there so I'll be off the grid for a few days.
Your right the 2ww sucks. I'm not even there yet though. Anyway I've been reading The Pact by Jodi Picoult it's really good, about half way done. And no labor day plans. Probably working...
It's the worst part of it all!! I am not reading anything right now and we have BBQs to attend all weekend. Talking with friends and family should help keep my mind off the wait! Beta is Monday though, it's getting close!
That's so awesome that you are going to Lake George! I live about an hour and a half south of there!
It really is the worse and strange to me how time seems to fly by with all the appointments waiting to O but those other 2 weeks of waiting torture seem like a month!
I'm finishing up Invisible by James Patterson, and it's a great distraction! It (so far at least) has no mention of babies or pregnancy so that's great!
For Labor Day weekend, I'll actually probably be at the doctor every morning for monitoring. I do have a friend in town to meet another friend's baby and we all have plans together. I'm not sure yet how I'm going to feel about that yet. I'm jealous of your ability to unplug that weekend! My in-laws live on and own a working dude ranch in Colorado. There is no cell reception, and it makes going up there even more wonderful! Aaahhh...now I want to go back there!!

@lopezkay I love Jodi Picoult and have read many of her books but not that one. Sorry you're working. :-(
@amos1417 omg!! So close. Have fun at the bbqs. I love lake George!! We go camping there every year over Labor Day.
@riveridgional I think I've read one of JPs books but I forget which one. Sounds like a fun weekend!! No choice but to unplug. :-) no cell service. Lol.
I started reading The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks while I was waiting for my IUI on Monday. I am only like three pages in and so far it's really good. I will probably read some more of it tonight.
My weekend plans are busy. I am staying at my brother's tomorrow night because my dogs are getting groomed early Saturday morning and I don't have to get up as early if I stay over there. Then I am hanging out with my mom. Saturday DH and I are going to a Labor Day picnic at a friend's house with other friends and their family. On Monday we are going to a Renaissance Festival. It should be a fun and busy weekend!
I want to go camping at a lake, that sounds like fun.

Hi everybody!! I'm just started the Outlander series. I'm very excited to finally start it.

I just read "The Husband's Secret." It was pretty good. I've also recently read "What Alice Forgot" and "The Girl on the Train." Both were also good.

@rachlee2010 - do you like James Patterson? I like the Women's Murder Club series, if you haven't read those. I also read "The Summer of Good Intentions" by Wendy Francis this summer. Light, fast read. Oh, and I also read Judy Blume's "In the Unlikely Event." I just had to read it since I loved Judy Blume as a kid! Geez, as I look through my iBooks library, I've actually read a lot lately!

How was everyone's Labor Day Weekend? I stayed super busy visiting friends and family. It was a really good time, but went by way too fast!! Now I am away for work until Friday and already miss my DH. I had a hard time leaving this morning. I think partly because I was so tired. lol

I'm currently listening to A Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon (Book 2 of the Outlander Series) on Audible. I don't have much time to read anymore, so I listen to it while I'm working out.
Over LD weekend we went to the pool twice, and to the NY Renaissance Faire in Tuxedo, NY. It was fun... I worked there every summer for 8 years as a harpist (until 2006). Still have quite a few friends there, so it was nice to see familiar faces. Good times!
