Family Centered C-Section @ GBMC?

Has anyone had a family centered C-Section at GBMC?

I am very excited to have this option (Section date: November 25th). My 1st 2 babies were C-Sections and they were traumatic experiences for me. My 2nd C-Section was a failed VBAC attempt and VBAC will not be an option for me this time around. One thing I feel I missed the most during my previous sections was not being able to see the delivery and not having skin-to-skin contact. GBMC is now offering clear drapes so mother can view the delivery and the baby is placed on moms chest while mother is being stitched up! This is an awesome alternative than how previous C-Sections are done! I really hope this becomes a standard option for every woman giving birth via C-Section! Any thoughts?
