Diclegis

I have had very bad nausea and vomiting for a few weeks. I am currently 8 weeks. My doctor prescribed diclegis, but I am nervous to take it. Has anybody taken it before? Thanks!!

My doctor prescribed Diclegis when I had morning sickness, and it worked wonders! It's the safest thing on the market for morning sickness, as it's basically B6 and Unisom, which also means it will make you drowsy. I took when I was 8 weeks along, up until I was 17 weeks... I am now 32 weeks. I wouldn't have been able to function without it!

Yes, it's a wonder drug. I take two pills at night before bed and am nausea free until the evenings (which is when I put on my sea bands...just until the next round of pills kick in). You can take up to 4 a day (2 at night, one in morning, one in afternoon) but it makes me too sleepy to drive and I have to work, so nighttime works for me.

Has anyone taken emetrol for their morning sickness? How effective is it for helping nausea?

It's very safe! Like a PP said, it's basically  b6 and unisom which is recommended OTC by many OBs for morning sickness. Hope you get some relief.
