National Dog Day!

I did a quick search and didn't see anything recent but I apologize in advance if recently pictures of dogs were shared BUT it's National Dog Day and I personally never get tired of seeing pictures of pets. Here's my baby. He's an 8 yr old rescue pom mix. We're coming up on his 1 year "adoptiversary" in October. He struggles with fear aggression and social anxiety but he's such a love to DH and I and as you can see he smiles all the time when he's at home with us. Show me your pup!

Frodo Waggins. When he was a puppy someone dropped him and 5 others off on the side of the road by my house (we're waaaaay out in the sticks). They were all bony and covered in ticks. We kept the smallest for my son and took the other four to the shelter. Later that night, this one comes out of the weeds all alone. He must have hid while we were gathering them up. So I kept him for myself and he is the best dog I've ever had.

Ahh I love my pups!!! Benni (white one) is a 6-year-old Eskimo Dog/Shetland Sheepdog mix, Teddy (black one) is a 5-year-old Shetland Sheepdog/Poodle mix, but looks just like a black lab somehow, and Buffy is a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd/Lab mix. The picture of her is a few days after her surgery for a torn ACL. Damn dog wouldn't leave her incision alone and ripped out her staples three freaking times. All three are rescue pups.

I love all the creative names for your pups! Everyone's pups are adorable! My pup is Willie Nelson! They named him Willie at the shelter and I added the Nelson to suit my love of country music!

Here are my two boys. The chocolate lab is my neighbor's dog. The beagle is Karter, he will be 4 on November 30th...we throw him a birthday party every year, with puppy ice cream and everything! And the other is our rescue "Pickles" ...not sure what he is but we have been told a mix of pitbull, dachshund, basset hound, and beagle. He struggles with anxiety for sure. But I love both of them to pieces!!

@katestrophem, I have an Indiana Jones! They look similar, too! We call him Indy, Jones, Dr. Jones... poor thing gets called something different every time!

I missed it too! All of your dogs are so adorable!

The first one is Sydney (Mini Poodle/Portuguese Water Dog mix). We adopted her on Halloween so we gave her a fitting name. The second one is Claire Annette (Collie mix).
