Cervical Scar Tissue

I had a c section because I was not dilating . I also have a lot of cervical scar tissue . I have read that you can have your doctor "massage " the scar tissue away , and when they do there are lots of success stories . Has anyone experienced this ? I may consider VBAC if this is a real option !
