First Words

Hi Mamas,

Have your little ones said their first word yet? My DD sometimes mumbles "Dada" but I don't think she makes the connection with DH. I basically say "Mama" 47 million times a day but no dice yet.

My little girl says 'mamamamama' but no 'Dada' yet. She'll also say 'bababa' and 'wawawa' but I don't think she's making any connection to meanings of those words. I think they learn a new sound and then like to keep practicing it. I love hearing her blabbling away to herself :-) x

My LO babbles away.  No mama or dada.  I do the "mama" a million times a day too.  No luck yet.

My dd 1st word was mama which then quickly changed to dada, when u tell her to say mama she says dada but when im busy & she wants me she says mama safe to say i have a lil madam on my hands!!

AND she has finally said her first word ... of course it was Dada.
