This is just a rant, I need to commiserate or whatnot....I am in no way saying that I have the worst AF issues. I just have issues with my own AF irregularities and feel the desire to display them on the interwebs as a way to deal with my frustration...
That being said, I am currently on CD9 with AF... She's been hanging around quite a bit the last couple of months, last cycle 9 days :> cycle before was like 14+ and many cycles have been 10+. She's wearing out her welcome and needs to go. I'm hoping she's gone by the time I visit my new Ob/Gyn on Monday so I can see what's going on with my crazy body.
Ok, sorry. Rant over. I'll just go crawl in a corner with my pretzel chips/ cream cheese and binge watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
SO grateful that I don't have those issues! I just wanted to chime in on the cream cheese. My favorite thing is cream cheese covered in a raspberry chipotle sauce with wheat thins. SOOO good
@lalala2004 They kinda have this bell curve thing going on. This cycle I've had a fairly even mixture of light, medium, heavy... The last couple of cycles have been long with light flow. I am taking a PNV (gotta do the gummies so that I'll actually take them, because they taste like candy!)
@dixie7701 I too love that combination. I also like cream cheese with chunky salsa and surprisingly cream cheese with shrimp cocktail sauce is pretty good too.
Wow, I'm sorry- that sucks. I hope AF leaves soon and your OB/GYN can help you. I think PP is asking about iron because an iron deficiency can cause heavy bleeding. Gummy PNVs do not contain iron.

I feel your pain. My AF is 5-7 days with most days heavy .... Ugh hopefully your new Ob will have some answers. Just make sure to write down all questions you have so you don't get flustered or forget any questions.
Well, I went to DR. today...he thinks I just had an annovulatory cycle mostly due to being overweight. FF thinks I O'd on CD21. I didn't use any OPKs during the past cycle because the cycle before I never got a +OPK. Either way, I asked him to run tests on my thyroid to make sure that's not an issue (I have long cycles, low BBT, and I'm overweight.) So...we'll see how that goes. On to cycle 3, just finished AF today!!!!
Good news is hopefully it won't be that way next cycle. I had spotting/af for 12 days last cycle but typically its only 5 days. I hope your af visits change as well. Fx for a shorter stay from that b!t*h
