Heart palpitations

hello I'm 8 weeks along the last two nights I've had heart palpitations are these normal should I be concerned or should I call my OB?

I have them. I've read they're normal.

I had them from 10 weeks, I'm now 17 and occasionally get them. I read it's to do with your circulatory system adapting to the higher volumes of blood you have during pregnancy. You may find, like me, that your body gets used to it and the palpitations reduce. If you feel dizzy, faint or get chest pain I would take medical action as you feel appropriate. Remember that a lot of chest pain in pregnancy is heartburn related, and also caused by the expansion of your rib cage during pregnancy. So don't panic! Cardiac pain manifests first in the left arm, not in the heart. Good luck x

My OB says this is totally normal as long as you have no other chest pain or dizziness
