Frustrations.. Charting Rant

edited July 2015 in Trouble TTC

I've been charting since January. January-March I had a lot of low temps (I think because of the cold). My temps are normally low anyway. No, I don't have any thyroid issues.. they've checked. Plus I get up early (5:00am) in the morning so that could be part of it.

Anyway, I started to get a "normal" cycle in March, by temps seem like they only go under 96.3 rarely... but the past five days they've been 96 and 96.2 and it's very frustrating. I feel like I am taking two steps back instead of one step forward.

I am wondering what changed. Am I going back to not getting AF for months at a time? I'm a little worried. Especially since I am supposed to start treatment once my next cycle starts. This is very frustrating.

Here is a link to my chart, incase anyone is curious.. https://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/5685b0

  • I'm not sure but temping isn't recommended when you're on Clomid.  It can make your temps wacky and unreadable.

Married for 7 years, TTC for 4 years
    dx:  Diminished Ovarian Reserve
    2 Clomid IUI's + 4 injectable IUI's= 5 BFNs and 1 mc

  • @GoldenKeys - I'm not on Clomid. I have heard that though, back when I was in Clomid I didn't even really know anything about temping.

  • Every woman is going to have a different range of temperatures. My friend who taught me charting and gave me a copy of TCOYF has what some would call unusually low temps. Worry more about the chart than the actual numbers. I'm someone who has to temp when I naturally wake up vs the same time everyday. We are all a little different when it comes to our charts and our bodies are constantly changing. Whoever you get treatment from May have some insight into your decreased temps.
  • @CopperLane - Thanks. If it keeps up I am going to e-mail my nurse and ask her about it. My temp was higher this morning, but I had two drinks last evening, so that is probably part of the reason why.
