We do better when we know better.
This past weekend I nursed my LO in a moving car. My husband was driving. My LO was buckled in her car seat and I was buckled in next to her. I nursed her by leaning over. It worked and I thought I was so clever.
However, today I learned that what I did was extremely dangerous. If we had gotten in a car accident the weight of me coming down on my LO would have been tremendous no matter how fast we were going or how fast the car hitting us.

I wanted to share because I wanted to make sure that other moms are aware of this. I did not and I am glad everything worked out but I will never do this again.
It's so tempting to try and do anything when your little one is screaming in hunger but yea it's definitely safer to pull over or give the baby a bottle of breastmilk/formula. Thanks for the info. #:-S
