How far along should I be come my babyshower?

I have two dates in mind one I will be 27 weeks and the other 32 weeks. I work at a school district and we have three day weekends these weeks. I want to be at a good size so I look pregnant (I am 19 weeks and just started to show). However I don't want to be uncomfortable and not enjoy it. Suggestions!?

I'm having mine this coming weekend, I'll be almost 31 weeks. I'm big but not so big I can't enjoy it and have a comfortable 10 or so weeks to buy everything I didn't get at my shower.
