Child Care in East Bay

I've contacted close to 10 day care services that offer infant care for our little one (due in October). All of them have come back saying they are full till next summer or 2017. What are you working moms doing in terms of child care? I'm probably looking at putting him into day care in Late January or February and am having no luck. Would love some advice as a FTM that had no idea Child Care was harder than getting into an ivy league college. Anyone else experiencing the same problems?

    It was VERY hard finding a day care for my son (currently 17 months) and I'm not looking forward to going through the same process with baby #2.
    We found our daycare through BANANAS. Have you checked them out?
    Also Berkeley Parents Network always has info in daycares with openings and recommendations.
