Trying to Get Pregnant

nevermind then

Re: nevermind then

  • Did you read the blue dye during the time window?  If not, then no you are not pregnant.

Either way, we can't tell you if you are pregnant.  Your only option is to test again tomorrow with FMU.  If you stick around, please lurk around.  This questions is asked frequently and is in poor taste (and against the rules)

  • Its against the rules to post both pee sticks and to ask if you are pregnant. However ble dye tests are notorious for evap lines. Test agiam tomorrow op. If its positive please don't post it here.

  • Wow you guys can be incredibly rude and unsupportive. I am sorry for posting this in the wrong place and I don't know how to delete it so I instead changed my picture and changed the post. I will clarify it was not my intention to ask you if this is positive. The point of this is to see if anyone has received a false positive with blue dye and is a positive even possible 21 dpo. Instead I see posts about your cat being more clingy lately. That's allowed? Seriously?

Lol. While there are technically no rules about posting about clingy cats, it's a whole different story when someone asks if their cat being extra clingy is a secret ovulation symptom. If you read through that post, you will see that she got flamed pretty hard for that one. We just chose to make light of some of the more ridiculous questions. :)

  • Lol yea I didn't even bother to open that one. Anyways, sorry for posting something against the rules. If I could figure out how to delete this I would have
  • You aren't supposed to delete it, just the pictures.  We like to have it there so other new posters like yourself who have the same questions can look at it and see, no it isn't okay to symptom spot and post pee sticks.

Fyi, it is pretty much impossible to be 21 DPO with a bfn. You either ovulated later or you are pregnant. The only way to know if you ovulated is to chart your temps. Also blue dye tests are notorious for false positives.
    My TTC History:
    2009: missed miscarriage #1 at 9 weeks (trisomy 16)
    2010: Infertility
2011: Diagnosis and treatment (low sperm count, anastrozole for DH, clomid for me + IUI)
    2012: Baby #1
    2014: Baby #2
October 2015: missed miscarriage #2 at 11 weeks (trisomy 22)
    March 2016 BFP#5, due November 2016.

Evap lines on blue dye tests are extremely common. And while I have no basis for what exactly you said (since it was rudely deleted), if you asked if it was possible to get a positive test at 21 DPO you in fact asked "Could I be pregnant?" without those exact words. I don't see how posting a picture of a pee stick and trying to figure out if it could be a false positive is in any other way NOT asking if you are KU?

If you want support, give support. It's a 2 way street. We are not your personal anecdote givers, googlers or doctors.

The ladies on this board are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. It's just asked that you be respectful to them and lurk a little. There is a ton of information on here if you use the search function (at the bottom of the page, you can search blue dye test false positives) and read. If you hang around, even for just a day, you will see that it's the same questions over and over and it gets redundant. Especially when the person could just do a quick search.
