Pic with newborn = how I looked when I went to get my haircut

Pic with hubby and toddler = how I usually look right after a haircut.

I asked for the same haircut I always get, but instead, they gave me that last picture. I used the same products and techniques for all 3 pics.

Debating if I want to go back to the same place for them to fix it for free, or if I'm deeming them totally incompetent and not letting them touch my hair again. The cut was on Wednesday. I hoped it would look better when I used my own styling techniques. It didnt. I contacted them on Thursday, asked a manager to call me, and emailed these pictures. I haven't heard a response. What is the appropriate time to wait before I post pictures and bad reviews on yelp, google, and their facebook page?

I hate it when that happens! Was it the same person who usually does your hair? If not and they offer to fix then you could request the person who did your previous good haircuts. If not, then say adios to them and find someone else.

I used to drive 45 minutes to go to a curly hair salon. I decided that I don't have time for that anymore, now that baby #2 is here and I went back to work. So I called a highly-recommended place in town and asked who their best curly-hair person was. This is what I got.

I am so sorry!! Do you think you may have to cut it shoulder length to get the mullet off?

I think I'm going to have to chop it to get rid of the mullet. But then I risk the Bozo the clown white afro style, because when you get enough weight off it curls up a bunch. So I have to choose between mullet or white afro.

Bad haircuts and mistakes happen. It's the salon's lack of response to fix it thay really angers me

Oh man. I would be so ticked!! I wouldn't go back to that place. Even if they change people. I'm would go to your normal person to get it fixed and next time try a different place.

I recently made this decision myself because I drove 40 min too. The cities around here all have for sale groups on FB. I posted about needing a new hair person. Then I picked the ones that had the most recommendations. Then I checked out their FB pages to make sure their hair pictures were good. Lol. I lucked out and found an awesome girl. I love her. I get a malibu, hi lites, and cut for $65!! She's amazing.

Oh this just breaks my heart. You have such beautiful hair. Bad haircuts are so traumatic, that's why I always stay with the same stylist I know and trust. I've been butchered before too.

Given the fact that it was a holiday weekend I would give the manager a week to get back to you. If no response by Thursday I would call and ask for the manager specifically. This way you know they didn't just fail to give the manager your info. If you get the brush off then I would post all your bad reviews.

So sorry. Does your hair grow fast? Maybe you could do headbands while it grows out a little so you don't have to chop the back? Hugs!

I did all of this too. :-( Even my friends who recommended the place are shocked

@Guennie - my hair grows slow and is too thick for headbands. I've only found 2 people in my life that I trust with my hair. The close one is 45 minutes away

So frustrating! Have you heard back from the salon manager yet? I hope they are able to fix it for you.

The owner called me last night. She had been out of town without internet. The staff assumed she'd been checking messages (including thr pics I sent her), but she wasnt.

She said she'd fix the cut for me, plus a free style sometime down the road.

Then she got the pictures.

Now she offered to do free cuts until it grows back to the original length
