Ok I need some sweet cute ideas to get my husband... I want to make something special for him because of becoming a new daddy. He lost his dad 6years ago and is extremely sad that he can't share this excitement with his daddy and can't call his dad to ask how to be a awesome daddy. I want to do something special for him. I need some good ideas pregnant brain is really slowing me down.

The new dad gift question has been asked before, but not for a long time and not with this specific situation. I would recommend trying to find those old threads using the search function as no one really comes here anymore to find the generic answers.

What most people would say though are, something for his hobbies, picture frame, baby clothes geared towards his favorite sports team, beer, cigars, go on a vacation (baby moon). Maybe go someplace that he used to like to go with his dad when he was a kid, let him do the things he wouldn't get a chance to do for a while once the baby comes.
