Finally!!! Some results!

ive complained on here multiple times about being sooo sick- thought it was allergies, took an antibiotic, felt better but cough never went away then it got worse again. My GP and my OB both listened to my lungs and were like "sounds ok" just rest, drink water, etc. no one wanted to believe me that I was having a hard time catching my breathe. Well it's gotten so bad in the past couple days. Went back to the OB, said they sound fine but sent me for a chest X-ray- called back almost immediately and said it looks suspicious for pneumonia! I KNEW something was wrong with me and I couldn't catch my breath correctly! Going to have to see a pulmonologist this week but maybe now I can finally get better!!

    Glad you got checked out! I had pneumonia a few weeks ago and it was awful being so physically sick and having morning sickness. Hope they give you some good meds!

    @lmgagliardi@hotmail.com I'm glad you finally got a proper diagnosis and hopefully with treatment will feel a a lot better. It's kind of crazy the illnesses pregnant women get because of having a lowered immune system.
    I actually found out I was pregnant because I was diagnosed in April and we were TTC so I took a hpt because I just had this weird feeling about starting the literal six different meds my doctor wanted me to take to get rid of it (it was bilateral and borderline needing hospital admission because of hypoxia but I squeaked by with just antibiotics and phenergan with Codeine).
    Anyway, I'm sure the pulmonologist will be able to help you a lot!!
