Canton/Madison/Ridgeland Area

Hello all!  I'm new to the bump and I thought I'd introduce myself in my area as some of the topic boards I have found a little scary/hard to navigate... ;P
A lot of the threads here seem older and I know one of the "rules" was not to post in an old thread so I thought I'd simultaneously start a newer thread and introduce myself.

DH and I will be married 3 years in August and are stopping BC after this pack.  I'm super excited to start TTC.  I know there's a lot of reality out there that everything isn't rainbows and unicorns, but right now, I'm in the "honeymoon" phase, if you will so I'd like to keep this a positive thread.  (IE - what your mama taught you- "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.")

So just as some topic suggestions that I'd love to hear your thoughts on:

-What are some things y'all started/tried when you started TTC?
(I've heard/read a lot of the common stuff like get off alcohol/caffeine [haven't consumed alcohol since January and I'm not a fan of caffeine anyway- my body's super sensitive to it], obviously - get off the pill, take prenatals [been doing that since January too], etc.)
-Did you do anything else diet-wise or in prep?
(I'm not going to lie- at this point, tracking my BBT sound like a whole lot of not fun... so I might get into trying that a little farther down the road if necessary.)
-How long did you wait after getting off BC to start TTC?
-If you could tell a pre-pregnant you anything, what would you say?
-Any other success/happy baby stories you have!

TIA for the chit-chat! Pretend we're at a coffee house. :)
