Switching jobs advice

Hi. Im wanting to switch jobs essentially for more money. I currently make 14.35/hr and the job i would be applying for starts out at 17. I would be doing the same job functions but with my pregnancy im afraid to move forward. I know they cant base my employment on that but i would be starting there in july then leaving sept 18th to have my baby and wont be back til nov 2. I just need some advice or suggestions on how to proceed.

    If they know you are pregnant and offer you the job then it shouldn't matter if you leave in Sept I would think. Id just be honest with them and if they give you the job take it! :-) Good luck!

    Six weeks is not such a long time to wait for a good employee to return. If you sell them on your skills, and they know you are pregnant to begin with, I don't see the problem. Is it a large enough company to fall under FMLA?
