My son was diagnosed with Adenovirus recently. He had a runny nose, cough, chest congestion, then really high fevers for 3 days and threw up while feverish. Does that sound like what she has?
The important thing is to stay on the fevers. Alternate Advil and Tylonol every 3 hours. Put a cool wash rag on their forehead. (Not on top of the head it will trap in the heat.) Stay hydrated! Drink Electrolytes and water. With high fevers you sweat a lot, don't feel like eating and are tired. The important thing is to drink!
My daughter had adenovirus as well. Similar to pp but also had diarrheoa and got dehydrated and also developed pneumonia. Ended up in hospital for 5 nights.
