Bay Area Promise Walk for Preeclampsia - July 18

Hi,
Just wanted to share that the fifth annual Bay Area Promise Walk for Preeclampsia is on July 18 at Hellyer County Park in San Jose.
My daughter was born at 27 weeks and spent 10 weeks in the NICU at El Camino due to preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome. I'm fortunate we didn't lose her. My family and I are walking so she won't have to worry about these diseases. It affects 5-8% of pregnancies in the U.S., but it's one of the least funded areas of research.
The walk should be fun. It's an easy, family-friendly route along park trails. And immediately following is the free Family Fun Fest with booths, food and games for kids of all ages.
