So I recently realized my princess was just like every other baby out there when it comes to being gross. Of course I've been peed on, pooped on, and had the oh so fun experience of being covered in baby vomit. What mom hasn't right? The other week while I was making my daughter breakfast she was playing in the kitchen nude, she had a yeast rash from diarrhea. She was awfully quiet so I looked around the island, and there she was holding a turd!!! I told her to put it down, and she just stared at me. She refused to drop it, and had the look of a toddler about to sprint away at lightening speed. I had no choice but to grab her hand, and take the poop away with my own hand. If I had more time to think the situation through I would've grabbed a paper towel, but honestly there wasn't any time. After I got her, and her poopy mess cleaned up I went and woke up my husband to tell him what his daughter had just done. The man became physically sick, and wanted to know what hand I touched the poop with, I was dying of laughter. Does anyone else have a funny gross story???
That's freaking hilarious! I've got a couple of gems but don't have time to type it out right now. My BIL is like your husband though. Can't stand poop and he has 4 kids lol
Lol! I don't have any better stories than that. My kid hasn't gotten into his diaper at all thank goodness but we do have pets so there's that. DH is pretty good about poo & puke but he's afraid of germs so sleeps in another room if I'm sick and I have to clean my own puke.

With our DD I was constantly sick and always had to deal with my own puke, luckily I always made it to the bathroom or outside.
I'm a peds nurse, so not much grosses me out and DH works in the hospital, too (used to be in the OR), so honestly not much grosses him out either. Our little man has pooped, peed, puked, phlemed, and bled on both of us and no one flinched. We've been through IVF and he was super interested in the placenta and sac. Meh. We're good on that front. Grossest thing thus far, either DH playing with the placenta or when we watched DS get circumcised and have a scalp IV attempt and cardiology evaluation all in about a 2 hour window.
