looking for a 2 syllable, classic, strong name to go with middle name Earl (my FIL- I let DH have that one) The MN is complicating things as one syllable names sound weird with Earl.
The only name we've kind of liked is Henry, so something of that sort.
Please no Jacob/Justin/Jason or Michael/Matthew/Mark. I'm a teacher and I know those poor names are "forgettable."

Yes- Justin is right in the mix with Jacob/Jason, etc. They're all the same now.
I LOVE Anthony... that's my brother's name but I don't want to name him after my bro... esp since I'm pretty convinced he'll be using it on his own son someday.
