Baby Latch

Hello Moms. It is hurting when my baby latches on. What I can do for this. Plz help me.

    Ride it out and see a consultant. I saw a million consultants, I thought baby latched poorly, it hurt, I bled, they said it was ok. Eventually (at 6.5 weeks) it stopped hurting. It's just hard but STICK WITH IT. And pump sometimes to alleviate pain if one side gets really bad. (It could be tongue tie or something too, other moms have experience with that.)

    i agree with seeing a consultant.  it shouldn't continue to hurt, if it does, something isn't right

    I use my finger and gently push from the under side of her chin to the tip of her chin.. It just adjusts her latch in the slightest way but it makes a world of a difference! Good luck!

    I would contact a consultant.  I'm having this problem and the consultant told me that I should unlatch the baby and relatch.  Also, maybe you could try a different hold.  Good luck!
