go home outfit

im looking online for a go home outfit for my baby when we leave the hospital and every newborn outfit is a onesie w long sleeves and pants and a hat. I'm going to be delivering at the end of MAY in the south. It's like 90 degrees already, is there some reason none of these "newborn" onesies are short sleeves? Does baby need to still wear a hat and to be covered like that? My sense tells me no but I don't know why all newborn outfits are like that then.

I'm from Turkey and we have special packs including a snap on shirt, onesie, mittens, hat, blanket, pants etc. 10 piece sets just to use for take home. But l guess you can Google as take home sets as well.
